  1. riders who ride natural tend to be better riders overall (just to stir it up!)

you'll find that guys(&girls) who are good at natural will also be good at street, but being good at street doesnt mean you'll cut it at natural - theres a lot more elements to it.

urban is good for increasing your confidence on big stuff but with natural youve got much more to think about - fighting & using angles, bobbles in rocks, using your pedals, finding grip etc.

  2. try-alls r prob better quality and will last longer, but for performance its monty.

bmx shoes r ok for street but for some comps you have to have shoes with ankle protection to be able to ride, such as the world championships.

for the british championship you dont have to wear them; they are ''recommended''. however with the way things are going dont be surprised if they are mandatory too in the not too distant future.

  3. monty shoes all the way - give enough support and yet are flexible.

found that the grip on try-alls arent so good, but i guess savage does alright with them.

however, stick with some skate/bmx shoes if you want something long lasting eg orchid, as trials shoes will probably last you a year if you ride a lot. i dont ride so much so mine have lasted me for 3! but theyre knackered :P

  4. You can't talk properly and you live like a turd. So it's a taxing ( :P ) life for them.

You disproved your own point - it can't be taxing to live 'like a turd' and to not bother forming your speech properly. Can't think of anything easier!

Anyway, enough about gypsies. Who the hell brought them up...? :-

  5. have a word with MRS for some clice gloves - always served me well.

if you can afford it, the dream is a set of Bosco Figures - as seen on the "Technique of Ot Pi" + plus worn by Jordi Tarres back in the day.

I remember when I started when I was a kid and I wore goalkeepers gloves - sure they'll keep you warm!
