I've currently got Onza tuf guy forks and soon i'm getting Echo SL's, that will hopefully save about 300g but i just want to know what people think of them? Anyone had any problems with them? And are they flexy of quite stiff?
You will saving a lot more than that closer to 500g. Can't imagine there the strongest forks. But depends on how harsh you ride.

Can't believe Kenny won, good lad. Well done to Slinger only British rider in final rest is nearly all Frencies.
-
nicest one iv seen!!! great job
i am guessing ur using 18-15 gearing, as rear wheel seems to be almost out of dropout (eeek!)... yeah?
just a bit worrying once you get some chain stretch??
No running 16-14, been told to run 17-14. But got middleburns so looking to get some new cranks i think.

cheers guys

i like!
what does it ride like? looks to be a fair bit different to the ol' steed!
Depends what you last saw me on Will. I had been riding an atomz AKT, then rode a prototype Quark for a week or 2 and really liked the high bb. Not rode it enough weather is pants.

Here's a few pictures of my new Hydrox. Only got it a couple of days ago rides really well. Got it down to 9.28 which is ok seeing as it still quite strong. Me, Rossi and Slinger have been on a bit of weight thing at the moment. Big thanks to Tarty for sorting us out parts and the frame btw.
Tell us what you think.
-
yeh cheers for that - was going to use maxxis tyres (hence the username) but think im gona try conti's
Its never going to be light then if your running maxxis tyres.
-
Kenny + levelboss = awesomeness. (I got my red tyres because of him ...)
Doesn't look like a level boss to me. Looks like his koxx belaey frame.
-
Just found this on OTN, have to say i MUCH prefer his style to Gilles'
Adam
Your right there he does look much better to watch. Just needs to catch up to Gille in comps.
-
Didn't think it was that good to honest the riding is amazing but the video hmmm. Rubbish song, the editing just seems wrong and camera angles are rubbish to. Needs a rider to film it would look better.
-
Me and Slinger might be there, off to someone birthday tonight so will see how drunk we are in the morning!
-
Whos going then? Is it worth the 3 and a half hour drive for me and Ben Slinger?
-
haha, we swapped bikes and still whoever had kenda tyres couldn't get up it.
I have nearly died riding the rocks in Blackburn on my old kendas, NEVER again!
Bad as conti's ??
-
I saw a good test at the last bike show, there was a sloped plastic obstacle that we were trying to backhop up. the riders with maxxis tyres had no problems, however the riders with kendas just couldn't grip and it was impossible to backhop up.
Doesn't that depend on rider. Plus my nevegal or what ever it was called was a sticky compound one grip to any think.
-
they sure don't grip like kendas!
I loved my old kenda I thought it gripped just as good as my maxxis easy.
-
New tyres from koxx ?
Was a cut down kenda from what I was told.
-
Do you have a link I can't find it.
-
