on my powerbook i have just downloaded google earth and it appeared on the desktop as a .dmg file which i deleted after moving the program to the dock and applications, whenever i open it a little disk icon and the .dmg file show up every time.
how can i stop this?

how can i get some tunes onto my motorola v3?
i have some full sogs that my mates have bluetoothed me but they're not my bag.
if there anyway i can bluetooth them from my powerbook onto my phone?
i have tried it but it always fails......

was watching the gadget show on c5 and there was a plug where you plug it into the mains and put your internet lead into it and where ever you have the other plug you can link up a cable and have a connection.
thing is, where you get them from?

happened to me.
all my music went and it didnt show in itunes
what i did was, open ipod updater and click restore. which completly restores it not the same as reseting then had to bosh it all back on.
tedious but worked

You can get your number on a new sim on a new network but it costs a bit.
yah takes about a week aswell i think. some aussies have my number and are meant to be calling me tomorrow afternoon, why i throw my phone!!!

snapped my pay as you go phone in two a minute ago.
gonna get a new one tomorrow morning...again on pay as you go. but probably a different network
will i be able to use my old number? and get all my contacts on my new phone?

my mate has one of these:
with loads of good mp3s on it and i want to get them onto my powerbook, then onto my ipod.
apparently its hard to do and when he tries to burn a cd it make sthem into 'ATRAC3' format.
any ideas? maybe a program is needed?
