  1. Looks great, how are them tyres in the wet ? and when will they be out

The tyres seem pretty good in the wet. I was used to a big betty and a kenda small block so the difference in grip in all conditions on all surfaces is massive!

    what pads are those? :S

TNN LGMs on a smooth rim!

Will the continental tyres be available in 26 as well?

I am not sure if they will be available on 26. Should find out soon!

    Looks amazing :wink2:

When will the continental tyres be avaliable to buy and how much do they weigh ?

The tyres are stil being tested with different compounds and casings so I would imagine it will be at least a couple of months if not longer.

These t-shirts are starting to get ridiculously tight duncs...

I know but I cant help it. T shirts are the same size as always just the guns getting bigger!

  2. I actually got this bike a couple of months ago but just getting round to getting some pics up now.

  3. My friends beloved Pashley 26MHz which he has had for 10 years has been stolen in Edinburgh. It actually happened a couple of months ago but I thought I would put a post up here on the off chance anyone in Scotland or beyond may have seen anything. Rough spec was as follows:

Cream Pashley 26MHz frame and forks.

    Azonic double wall bars

Mavic 521 Rear wheel with hope bulb

Mavic x517 with hope mono hub

    Blue Magura HS33s

    DMR Chain tensioner

    Deore LX Cranks

If anyone has any info please let me know.

  4. Really not sure what the top comp riders get but I would imagine they will have to do shows/work to add to what they make from riding comps. Almost all paid riders rely on doing shows with the exception of only a few. So if they dont ride they dont get paid. It will vary a fair bit but I personally am on a pay per hop basis so as long as I do a load of back hops each show it works out not bad.

With regards to Danny I am not sure exactly how much he gets but it cant be that much as he struggles to pay me his rent every month.

  5. Hey!

Here is a street edit from me (Duncan Shaw)” filmed by “Danny Macaskill” in Newport and Huntington Beach, South California over a couple of days when we were over there on a trip back in February. The video was edited by my flatmate Paul Macdonald. Check it out!

I think ben travis has done a wee snippet on his blog about the edit. Might be a wee interview in there if you are interested. Have a look! http://mis-conceptions.blogspot.co.uk/

  6. Good first effort! I have yet to try it out but have read up about it quite a lot recently. For decent results I think you need to be shooting in at least 50 fps so it gives the programme a bit more to work with. You may need to drop the resolution to get the extra fps depending on the camera. Also from looking at examples of when it is used it seems for best results you need a fairly uniform uncluttered background to eliminate the warping you are getting!
