It was a hot (30 degrees C) and very windy day, but a last minute ride was organised at Sydney Olympic Park. Riders featured: Ben Horn, Hunter Allgaier and Jon Gatt. I wasn't riding because my shoulder was giving me a bit of grief.

We've just come back from this years Jindabyne (epic trials location) roadtrip. These are the clips I took of Lewis last year. Filmed them on my 7D and then had issues editing them until recently.
Lewis is originally from Leeds UK but living up north in Queensland Australia. He has come down for 3 of the last trips and continues to impress with his enthusiasm, streety- goodness riding style and knowledge of bizarre and interesting snake facts. Unfortunately this year he had a busted ankle but still managed to shred on a brand spanker inspired Hex. Someone else did the filming this year so it will hopefully be up sooner.

Dam that was good video loved the edit, reminded me of the danny mac advert; edit wise. What did they use to do those pan/tracking shot? Specially the zoomy ones, would love to try that for my self, guessing its done by same super expensive camera gimble though! One of my fav BMX videos.
Camera was a 5Dmark 2 with 3 different lenses. I think the tracking shots were done on a bike??

Riding was great, really annoying how the whole video was in slow motion though, I had to mute it and speed it up.

I pulled the trigger and bought myself one. I'm not riding as much these days and hoped a new fancy bike would help me get riding. Problem is I don't want to scratch it :s
I bought the Tomomi model and it rides pretty nicely. Super light and flicky. The brakes needed a bleed and the rear hub sucks.. that's the only gripe I've had with it so far.
