No Worries bud! I cant really afford them right now anyhoo!
-
looking swish good job i am not loving those tyres like i've got a set of kujo's that would finish this of nicely
How much mate? And whats the tread like?

Cheers for the comments guys!
Seat and stem are the priorities, its pretty low at the front but apart from that it rides great, now I just need to find some time to actually ride it!
-
That looks WICKED Dan!! Although I fell it needs a slightly higher stem and some good ole risers!! I always loved Doublewalls!!
Adam
Cheers dude! It has actually got the new doublewalls on it! they are 726mm wide / 2" rise, but your right it could do with a higher stem. it would feel much better.
Hope alls well with you mate, loving the mototrials pics!

I'm from Falmouth! Live in Oxfordshire now though
What you need to do luke, is move back!

Ok so, getting a little old and past when it comes to trials I felt like having some fun and reliving my twenties so I bought a project..........
It started out like this:
I had to fix this:
And it now looks like this:
Thanks to trialsguru for the frame, hope this doesnt make you wish you had kept it!
I need to change the seat but apart from that its pretty much spot on!
Hope you like it

Thats some HUGE and rather smooth riding right there! And DAMN that place looks fun! Terrible song though, had to turn that off!
-
Don't be sorry. Just don't do it again.
Hehe, no worrie boss.
-
Do apologise, been off the forum for a bit, only just found this, hayho, still sick.

Awsome, and great to here ben howard on the sound track too!
-
Wow. nuff said.
-
As always.... Amazing. Like the beard too! That crash is savage, makes most crashes look trivial (much like his riding makes mine look)!
-
Ah, some memories in there matey! But that wife beater.... what was I thinking! (and no helmet on either of those vids with me in). Dickhead. Dude its nivce to see the improvement through your vids, good stuff! Looking forward to seeing you on the moto!
-
Crackin vid that! Truly amazing riding and really great camera/editing work!
Andy, you obviously got on with the 7d! I dont think mine has been more than 20ft away from me since i bought it!
Nice one both of you, awsome stuff!

Addingham Moorside? Michael Graves in the blue Hebo and Matt Tongue in full factory Pash get up behind him?
-
So do i! Hop idol wasnt it? In that same series there was a guy on a blue and white saracen x tort with hope C2's i remember at the time thinking that was the coolest looking bike ever! That and Akrigg's polished Pace rc 250 dual disc. Does anyone have the picture of the mbuk issuse edited by the Martins?
It was actually called 'Search for a trials star'. The much catchier 'hop idol' was the following year!
-
I remember this!
Haha, feels pretty wierd for me looking back at that! Spring 2001 issue. 10 years ago! Crazy.
-
I might have! I'll have a look on my old HD later if I remember...
Nice one fella! Hope alls well!
-
Right then,
All this 'old bikes' talk is making me feel old so i thought I would join in and show you how I started out back in 1997................
I'll start with the first bike that looked anything close to a trials bike....
The Azonic DS2:
Followed by The lovely green identiti.....
Then came the DMR Sidekick in my MBUK appearance, good times......
Then we start getting serious with the beautiful Pashley 26mhz, I loved this! I miss it much.
Then the Monty (in 3 Different Colours/Specs). I snapped this.
Then I had a Koxx Levelboss 1065. This rode sooo sweet, kind'a miss this too. Unfortunatly cant find any decent photos that though.
Also found this......... My friend Steve on his Rocket....
And this which used to be our riding spot, it was AMAZING!!!
So there you go.... 13 years of trials bikes. Now do you all feel young? No? Damn.
-
My horse to anyone that finds or posts the opening skit from 'Dirty Tricks and Cunning Stunts' in all its protective Afro glory
Dude you owe that man a horse!
Nice find
-
Fletcher Gillet? He was all over MBUK a few years ago, rode a mix of flatland and trials on an Ellsworth Specialist - used to love that frame!
thats the chap! he was pretty handy at the time! nice one for remembering mate!
