  1. They were £360, 3/4 years ago. No doubt the price of material has gone up since then. That was competitively priced against the Leesons, which were £400? and the Curtis frames which were over £500. I think if I were to manufacture some now I would TIG weld them, opposed to bronze welding and build a small batch at the same time around one standard geometry (I was offering custom geometry at the time). If theres interest I will build!

ah, id be looking for a 26 though

  2. Damn, that looks really nice with all the gold bits on! Glad to see its still going strong after 4+ years. Is that still the original powdercoat? Looks incredibly tidy still if it is.

There were actually 3 24's built, not sure if they are still with there original owners now or got passed on, but I am considering making a few more possibly, just need to get another job out the way first.

how much were you selling them for? interested!

  3. Go for a Marino!

What ever geo you like, whatever colour you like. V? 4 bolt? Disc? Seat? No problem.

I've just built my 26" Marino, expect pictures in the next couple of days.

what geo have you gone for? I'm struggling to decide on a geo!

  4. well,

I'm out of the loop, I want a frame to run a real seat on and the second hand market isn't bringing anything up.

Is there going to be a 26" inspired? if so, when? how much? and what geo will it have?

    thanks guys,

    Pete

  5. I think £300 RRP is a good starting point as it allows that extra bit of design and quality, which is worth paying for.

whats to design though? conventional frame design, no stupid hydro forming or fancy cnc, 1040-1050 +10 bb 370mm cs 73 degree head tube?

something like that surely cant cost much
