ok you can delete the top one, and do one of the system please, its the bottom one inside the event viewer folder.

ok a few things i would check:-
1) check all drivers are the latest and direct X
2) turn it all off, and unplug, make sure CPU fan is properly seated....just wondering if its getting hot...mind you does it play other games?
3) right click MY COMPUTER > MANAGE > EVENT VIEWER > check application and system, it records what made it crash here, can you post a screenshot.

For it to completely restart you comp thats one major crash. Can you post you system specs please.
Of the top of me head, sounds like either your machine ain't up to it, or a hardware failure/driver issue.

I use DVD Decrypter to rip and DVD Shrink to burn and..errr..shrink, been doing DVDs for ages no issues.

simply logic is best Try that see if it works and tell us what the result is. Also check the security settings see if its got "ALLOW BY MAC ADDRESS" ticked. Only people on this list can access the internet.
P.S. Mac address is the ident number for that piece of wireless hardware.

I don't really know much about the legal side of it, but people die becuase of people like this. My GF was knocked down (by a sober driver mind) ages ago and has been left brain injured. If it takes the court case to strighten him out, so be it.
I doubt there'll be much stress involved going into court, i mean it's not like he's killed anyone. And all you need to say was i saw him drive off pissed, and that's it. Don't back out of it.

anything i can do to take it off my mind??I watched Cancer destroy my dad, this was in 1991. Nothing will take away the upset for you or your family because loosing a close family member is always shit.
If any of you have a family member who is really ill the best thing you can do is make there time a good one, and always think of what they did "instead of they are gone" make the days easier.

Even though you would have signed a legal statement which is not retractable, if you chose not to appear in court then the case would be chucked out with lack of evidence for the charge as you and your statement are the said evidence.
They cannot present the witness statement without the witness, nor can they make you go to court, its your call.

Ok the speed you`re seeing is from the wireless computer to the router, not your available download speed...if that makes sense....heres an example.
My download speed max is 4mg, but my local area network (LAN) is 100mps
Most wireless devices will produce varying speeds dependent upon what hardware is used, if you can list me what you have I.E - router and wireless cards/sticks.
But standard wireless adapters offer speeds from 11mps up to I think 125mps (newer stuff). So for you to have to different adapters that have different speeds is normal.
I won`t be on now until about 6ish...got to go do some work.

Ok there are lots of possible things it could be, so first heres a search link for setting up a wireless connection/network.
But this is what I would do:- Most routers enable you to log on to it to set up security and the like, so do that.....usually something like 192.168.0.1 (type into your internet address bar)
password is normally User:- admin, Password:- admin
Then check your security settings, see if there is a WAP key...this protects your network from muppets who want to piggy back your connection.
If it has a key then this needs to be setup on your mums comp, if not then you might find it better to manually set up the IP on this wireless adapter.
Go
START (bottom left) CONTROL PANEL - NETWORK CONNECTIONS - and find your wireless one, right mouse click it and look for network settings....you are looking for TCP IP settings, or telling it to use the following IP.
you need to know your router IP.....its the same number you use to connect to it, then you can give the wireless adapter an IP (this saves it looking for one)
So you IP has to be the same range....i.e. ROUTER is 192.168.0.1 (your i.p. 192.168.0.2) or if your router is 192.168.1.1 then your I.P would be 192.168.1.2
This is what you should end up with.
You will have to select (Use the following IP address)
IP - 192.168.0.2 (depends on your router IP range)
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.0.1 (this is your router IP)
default DNS - 192.168.0.1 (this is your router IP)
hope this makes sense.
