  1. Oh my goodness.  That place is trials heaven.  I need to make my there sometime in the future.  I couldn't agree more with the 'Quiet Brake control'.  Such fluid riding.

Also that is such a typical North American crowd.  They have most likely never seen trials in their life.  Here you can amaze a crowd just by bouncing on your back tire.  That would have been such a cool experience for those people.

Please make more videos of those awesome spots!  It also a nice treat to have no music in this video.

I grew up in Thunder Bay and barely recognized any of those places. Want to come and ride with you. That vid was fun and anything with a bunnyhop is awesome. Keep riding

I actually keep hearing about a guy that did bike trials in Thunder Bay like 10 years ago and moved out to Alberta/BC.  Was that you lol?  Every bike shop tells me the same storey.  Yeah if you ever come back and visit let me know and we'll go for a ride.

  3. I'm looking to get a Trialtech Sport fork (I need 4 bolt mount). Although I really like the design of the Inspired Team fork topcap (one hole for front brake and an allen key hole to tighten). Does anybody know if the topcaps on these forks are interchangeable?

    Thanks!

  4. I've made a new video to enter into my school's outdoor film festival. This video will be played with other no-budget films from other students.

The showing isn't for another month so I was hoping to get some feedback before I submit the final copy.

    Thanks!

  5. Hey!

I enjoy film festivals, filming, and trials so it only seemed natural to make this movie for a local film festival in Canada eh! The music goes pretty well with the video so make sure to turn up the volume! I finished it about a year ago and took about a year of very casual filming to get all the clips.

    Hope you enjoy!

  6. So my school puts on an Outdoor Film Festival every year and a bunch of my friends told me to put together a video to submit this year. The video is close to done, but I thought I'd make a teaser anyways.

BTW I know the url doesn't match the address on my website.... I'm working on it.

    My Bike Site!

Go to the video page and it's the bottom video. Feel free to browse the website anyways, any comments welcome!

  7. Just measured mine, bad news is its only 205mm or there abouts :(

You could cut it mid length, and weld a suitable extending sleeve in there :)

Too bad its a little short.... but I might end up having to extend it. I don't know much about welding but I'm sure thats not a huge or hard task really. I'll get back to you in a few days to see if any other suggestions come up. Thanks again though!!

    Still open to ideas though!!

  8. You could file a small channel up through the crown pretty easily. A lot of people do it with BMX forks...

I could do that as a last ditch effort if I really needed to. But it looks like there's plenty of room to run a cable through the crown....

    ....random pic of urban....

    Thanks for the concern through!

  9. I'm pretty sure there is, but I'll check this evening. I have a set of urbans on my bike and a spare star nut to measure.

    Thanks that would be awesome!!

Ive got a brand new, unused dna headlock at home that you can have :)

What front brake are you using because you wont get a hope hydro cable through it, neither will you get a magura hose through unless you put a new olive on afterwards.

I can check the length if you want, I dont want anything for it but not sure how much postage is likely to be to canada - might be cheaper to try to source one second hand from the states?

If you had the longer version that would be absolutely mint! I have a feeling not many of them made it over to North America so I'd probably have the best luck getting yours.... if it's long enough **fingers crossed**

  10. Another option would be to drill out part of the star nut (They're a weird small size in the urban forks, the steerer is so thick) and top cap and run the cable through there. Since the start nut basically does nothing once the stem is tightened it's not a structural worry like putting a hole in the steerer tube would be...

That seems to be one of the best solutions so far. Could somebody please check their urbans or similar fork to see if there would be enough room to fit a cable through the side of the starnut if i were to remove a flange.

    Thanks for the replies guys!
