    Where abouts in brum are you? I'm moving to erdington in a few weeks...

    Im in Solihull mate. I have never heard of there! Do you know how far from Solihull or the town centre it is?

    Owen, you've never heard of Erdington!? Must have seen some signs in and around brumton!?

    to answer your question anyways...

    its bout 10mins (if that) from Birmingham on the Aston express way.

    and bout 30mins from Solihull.

    traffic depending of course

    Hey,

    just to ask does anyone know/or know of where i can find out the ERD of Viz rims?

    i've had a look on vizbikes.com and not even they list it.

    the 2 rims im after are ,

    26x36x46

    26x32x39

    any info will be much apprciated.

    I Cant really quote on the Online/Over the phone orders as i havent done so from Dan (I Collected the items myself)

    But what i can say is that after speaking to Dan last thursday about a mix of parts that i wanted,

    He suggested i send him, via email, a list of the parts and he will let me know what is in stock and as i live in Birmingham i was more than welcome to head on down to the warehouse to take a look for myself

    Indeed he has been ill over the weekend and as already stated, being a one man business this has not helped in his favour.

    There were times where i tried calling him and had no answer/reply and i guess with all the negative feed back around it started to put me me off abit dealing with him, but i received an email from him on tuesday explaining that he had not been well over the weekend and to assure me all was ok to pop down and that he would have everything ready for me and Indeed it was.

    In between sorting out orders and his warehouse he was a great help.

    its a shame there is such alot of negative feed back going around, as shown to me today, he is a quality guy and very welcoming even though we had only spoken over the phone.

    we all make mistakes thats part of lifes learning curve, but i do belive if a mistake was made he would put it right.

    His warehouse/shop looks to be coming on great and i hope when all is up and running, the business will run alot smoother for him.

    Ok we all do it, leave things till the last minute and i do hope you get what it is you need sorting but put yourself in his shoes, he's doing his best with what at the moment is a busy time for him.

    I was just looking at this and also thinking thats one crazy price for a rim, lol!

    altho it does say at the bottom of the page:

    Each rim takes 20 minutes of time on a £500,000 machine to make the square holes and also has three spots of weld on the join to ensure maximum durability.

    so taking that in to consideration.

    so am i its a brum ride thats what has being organised so f#*k everywhere else thats for another ride

    awwell by the looks of things boys its not going to be a big ride like owen hoped it would be so

    all that was made was a "Suggestion"

    not once was there any remark made of completely changing the riding place from brum.

    peoples opinions and ideas of what they thought idea, thats all was asked.

    Im up for anywhere. I only said about going somewhere else because other people mentioned it.

    I dont care where we go. Just say whereever, and ill come along, dont really care :P

    when i posted the reply it was purely a suggestion based on wat had been posted/said previously not a lets change the riding place, if people are bored with brum then thats fair, its good for a change.

    i'm good for a brum ride i havent riddin there/am not good enough to warrant it boring. the more riders/new faces the better.

    Owen if you go stoke i'll come with you at least then we can hold hands

    Is the brum ride still on then?

    Or are you talking about having another ride on the 29th?

    well as it stands the brum ride is still on yeh (Y)

    i was just putting a suggestion out there to see what others thought. be great if there were a good group of riders (new faces to me) to chill/meet/ride with.

    also new spots/places to ride for others aswell dude.

    u be up for travelin to somewhere else if need be?? add me to msn aswell Ben its in my profile

    alrite lads,

    just thought i'd put in a reply just to say i'd asked owen to put up this topic about a brum ride as i haven't been on one for a while now but reading through, i see a few have said try some new places.

    Cov got a mention and i've never rode there and i dont think owen or a few other locals havent so myself, and after speaking to owen/dec they b up for it too.

    any other suggestions that be cool aswell

    i just said brum as i'm guessing its easy for people to get to?? and the ridin spots are known.

    either way hope to see a few people on sat and fingers crossed for some good weather.
