Ok.. I just came back to Liverpool for Uni and got back into trials over the summer. I'm not a beginner but neither am I really good, so do any of you kind lovely people want to come over to Liverpool this weekend (24th and 25th Sept) or the weekend after, to have a quality ride and help me (and MesaMan :) ) out? You know it will be good.

Good riding mate! Gotta love a bit of the Crue! Respect.
-
Now then! I've just come back to Liverpool for uni, and I'm really looking for someone to ride with too. Sucks on my own. I'm only really at a novice level too, so I'd feel bad joining a ride and holding you legends back, but if anyone wants to ride I'd really appreciate it!
Cheers (Y)

The reason it changes the number of *s in the password is so that if anyone else comes to your computer and tries to log on to MSN and sees that your password is so many letters long, and tries to work out what it is, then they will be trying to work out a password that is the wrong length... :( if that makes sense. The crash must be an issue with your setup not with MSN...

Trials scene pretty much sucks in York... Good job I just got back to Liverpool, 3rd year at uni starting now! There are some good places in York though, check out that Yorkbiketrials website, never met the guys on it but they are good riders!
Good places to go are near Cliffords tower and the Crown Court, a little are covered with walls and benches by Argos by the river, Clifton Moor has miles of rocks lined up by the sides of the road... The centre is always to busy to go riding unless you go so early in the morning or night. Ill give you a shout sometime when I'm back!
Cheers

Hey Gaz... Saw that you put that vid up on the York uni server. You from York? If so where, and where was that jump spot? Wasn't in Haxby by any chance?

Yeah the badge had the worst fixing ever! I can't really remember the full spec... Think it was something like
FSA Sidewinder Cranks
Sunn Mammoth Rims on LX Hubs Front and Back (pics taken before i got the front)
Magura HS33 Blues
PLanet X Bars
Tioga Factory DH 2.1 Tyres
LX Drivetrain
I loved that bike... Sold it for about £150!! (Stupid STUPID boy) (Y) Cos the gusset at the bottom of the headtube had cracked and i wanted a double kick pedal for my drums! Apparently some young girl rides it around the village now and its still identical! I might try find her and buy it back...

Hey guys, sorry I'm a bit late getting to this... Is this what you were on about? It's a Sunn Xircuit Max limited edition trial model. Got it in '97 or '98. Bought the frame and built it up myself. Sorry about the quiality of images, digital cameras were ass back them...
I actually added the Pashley sticker on the front myself, the Sunn badge fell off....

Your MAC address is a different thing to your IP address... There should be a separate list for MAC address. If you can filter IP addresses then try deleting the thieving bastards IP..
other than that, out of ideas./ B)

little (as in 'my'... i am comfortable with my sexuality!)

Actually i like his idea better! B)

In your router setup program there should be an option to turn on MAC address filtering (Dont turn it on Yet!). Find the MAC address of your machine (not sure where you can find that in Windows) and enter that in the list of machines that can have access to the router, then turn on the filtering. That should stop them!!
I used to do that to the girls i shared a house with when they pissed me off....

I use a Dual G5 with Tiger. I produce a lot of bands and in the audio world, now that Logic (audio production software) has gone purely to Apple, I think Macs are the way forward.
For me its all about the whole package that you get with them. So many people build PCs now that there are so many compatability issues with hardware etc... when you buy a Mac you know that whatever pro software you buy will run on it. At least in my case! I also don't think that just because OSX will run on PCs that people will start to use that instead of windows.... Everyone I know who has an Apple has one because of the whole deal, hardware and software. Its the design and elegance of it all too. Yes they are a tad overpriced, but you can get quite a bit of money off if you buy through the Apple Education Store (even more through Higher Education!)
But you are right about them sucking for games.... B)
I just wish Microsoft would get their ass in gear and make a new version of MSN for OSX that can do webcam!

Any chance you are talking about the "Raceline D" model? God that takes me back! (Y)

Fannytastic. Cheers!

My crank was creaking, so i put some grease on the BB and Crank. That sorted the noise, but then I noticed that my ACS Claw freewheel was coming loose (shock!). So I did a search about it and Loctite seems to be the way forward, but which Loctite do i get? There seems to be a lot of different options. Which ones have people had good/bad experiences with?
My other question is about helmets. Most helmets seem a bit small for my rather large head. Anyone know of any larger-than-most helmets? I Like the look of the Giro Semi MX. Know anything about that?
Thanks in advance! :shifty:

I hate riding in the wet... Personally I think its too risky, you cant really tell how much traction you have and could suddenly slip and cock up big style. Play my drums in the wet, ride when its dry!
-
Thats great cheers! I was hoping to have a little test ride of one or two though so maybe that is not the place to go....
I'll give him a ring anyway and see then.
Thanks again. (Y)

Hi, without trying to sound stupid.... Is Tarty Bikes just an online shop or can you actually go there to have a browse and try bikes out? If so I shalll go tomorrow!

Well the tooth fairy didn't get my teeth, but the knee fairy moved my kneecap round 90 degrees so unfortunately I won't be riding for a while! Made a mightily impressive snap noise though.... All from stepping off a park bench. Its always the little things... (Y)
Although I did inhale copious quantities of lauging gas! But they denied giving me morphine.. Gutted.
