How the f**k did you crush your rim from a Magura (Y)
Unless you've been grinding away like a beaver, or you have some crazy kryptonite filled Magura, then something's gone amiss...
it was a standard wheel that come with my pld bike and the power of the brake just crushed it :P . Never under estimate the power of a magura. :huh:

There is a new type of rim that has a bit in the middle of it, this stops pinches completely. Ill try and find a link.

They are Ashtons allthough I think they're trying to make the fork exactly like the fattys. Ashton ran fattys for eons.
Fattys are a good fork though.

i prefer fattys, the ashtons colour scheme is horrible. :P

i run really low pressure, cheap tioga 2.1dh thingys and cheapo innertube and never had a pinch puncture
i run a irc el gato with a kona inner tube and i have tried to puncher it when i first put them together to test the strengh and thay took all i threw at them.

I think a good dh tube should do the job just fine. :P

hi i was riding today and i was messing around on a legde on my front wheel, anyway, it made me think i used to have a v brake/ gear changer in one and that seemed to hold out better than my magura. i want to go back to good old v brakes. I only used the brake once or twice so i was wondering how much to sell it for or should i try to swap it for a avid arch rival?. cheers jamie
