  1. i cant see you really getting enough power behind that to undo, or safely tighten up a lockring. A few hits with a small headed screwdriver and a hammer are enough to loosen it off, then just use the screwdriver to turn it.

Its maybe worth a try but maybe not worth buying considering usual household tools would work just as well....

  2. Just got mine from Siders today...

Cant get much faster than 7k at the moment, guess i need to work on my techneque. So much pressure goes on your arm, i cant imagine what it will be like up over 10k!!

Want me to add my score whatever i get? Just to get another person up on the board?

  3. forks can make a HUGE difference on any bike, straigth forks or raked ones etc. They can add extra length and make the ride height different. Tell us what frame it is for and we will be able to help you out a little more (Y)

  4. This post is no better than most of the other posts which people post when they join.

also I advise that you don't put your E-mail address on the forum like that, there a some programs which scan forums for E-mail addressses.

welcome to t' forum enjoy your stay, and post constructivley.

    Mike!!!

kkk i hope your name isn't meant to be racist (N) ... to exercise the rights of the ku klux klan, is now illegal!!!

I love it when validated people come into the New Members Chat and treat them like dirt!! So savage, absolutely no need for it, and what you on about "KKK"?

Enjoy T-F, been the best resource of good info and help for me for a few months now.

Id also like to get a gold one cos im a ponse and want a plush looking bike.

Where can i get a new casing from? And is it even possible or is it just the rear you can do change the casing on?

    Thanks lads

  7. chances are the tyre is too thin for the rim. Very common with the width of the try-all rims. I had to CUT a mates minion off of his ronnie (which aint even anywhere near the size of the try-all) because the tyre was basically just too thin.

Stick a good few tyre levers in and really try and work your way around. Worst comes to the worst, you may have to cut the tyre off.

(I had to use a dremel on the Butyl on the minion :) )

  8. Does the area you have been hitting feel quite tender? A little hard Ben? Want me to feel it? :P

Get yourself a warm balm that you can rub on, something anti-inflamatory, id suggest using that untill you go to france, AND whilst there. Its not a pulled muscle you have i doubt, its likely that you have bruising inside your leg. This can be quite painful but dosnt take long to go away IF you stop hitting it. Try massage it aswell, working around the pain.

By the sounds of things its just some heavy bruising from the constant hit you are giving it. You might want to try moving your bars up the streerer tube just one spacer if you have room? (cant remember if you do).

Your thigh could toughen up after a while and just get used to it, like the calloces on your hands.

Worst comes to the worst, ill just have to rub your leg after very tap.......
