Way back then, the Crescent was a frame many of us longed for. Fortunately I can't think of many commercially available frames that I wanted that much and didn't end up buying, although I remember really liking the old DBR frames that Tibo rode, and would've had one if I didn't already have the Vario. Oh yeah, and a Zaskar LE in the 90s of course, no way was I ever affording one of them...

I have a Crescent for sale currently, built with period correct components all in mint condition, including m950 XTR cranks (unmarked), Mavic rims etc.. pm me if interested.

  2. been watching your vids for years... somehow each one is consistently better than the previous!

always smooth, powerful and creative lines.. not just the same tgs crap over and over.

    Really enjoyed it.

    thanks

    Danny.

  3. looks alot better than the unpainted proto slate 2 that i saw about 2months back.. good to see some great improvements. ie booster inside etc.

Im pretty sure its made of U6 too which is a big plus... like the old echo pures/zoo boas etc - light n strong.

can you please confirm the geo??? I was told 1080.380.50 is this stil right?

    cheers for postin pics :)

  4. Looks nice but i much prefer the orange sky now its out.

considering the length, i prefer the higher bb of the grey sky.

i did have the choice of the orange at time of ordering (im a koxx dealer for australia).

update on how it rides... stiffest seatstays ever, possibly even stiffer than the atomz which is considerably stiff. Noticeably more rigid than my hydroxx was!

BB rise (65mm... 50 on the orange) really suits the wb and makes it stil feel lively and flikable, especially good whenyour not that tall, like myself.

There are some moves that instantly felt nicer, wheelswitches, gaps to front/rear, everything feels solid, now with dk on the rear im back to natty riding and absolutely loving this bike.

All the skys will have the same solid feeling/rigid designs, just pick the geo that suits you best :D

  5. Thanks Mark, really was impressed by how carefully it was packaged, its great to know such care is taken, especially when it has to travel to the other side of the world :)

Cheers Nick, and you're right, the hydroxx lasted me over a yr and a half, which is much more than they lasted alot of other folks who went on to ride another koxx after it. Besides, to date (til now maybe) the hydroxx was the best feeling trials bike ever imho, over 12/13yrs of riding. Id happily buy koxx again!

The fork is tryall alu - available from tartys in silver or black

Will be posting a review or some sort of "first impressions" in the next few days.. stay tuned!

thanks for the comments guys - I actually have to replace the rear rim, silver again or a set of black??
