  1. i think a lot of this is blown out of proportion. of course the housing markets going to fall, but it was never going to keep on going, its fell before, and been high before. people are going into debt, but they have been for years. the countries going to be in debt, but its just going to get it another way,(cutting back on the army, raising taxes etc)

call me a twat, but im actually sittin here, thinkin the credit crunch is probably going to benefit me. was looking at getting a house when i was 22/23. im now looking at doing it sooner. im still earning the same as what as i was last year, i dont really look like im going to be losing my job due to the "credit crunch", but house prices are falling. granted its going to be harder to get a mortgage, but meh, i dont think its going to be too much of an issue.

everyones saying no ones got any money, but i dont know, for me, its a brilliant time, im still earning the same wage, but am getting loads of stuff cheaper, because nobody else seems to have any money, im sat here typing this on a rather high spec pc, in my room, next to my xbox 360 and big flatsceen tv, with a load of camera equipment behind me, a feck load of designer/brand name clothes. theres 2 motorbikes in the garage, a decent car sat on the drive. dont really see how anythings going to change for me really, setantas still goin to show the boxing on a saturday night, bp's still going to sell diesel at a price i can afford.

You might be earning the same amount of money, but in terms of real income you actually have less than before due to higher inflation. The prices of goods are up around 4.8% (the rate of inflation) and your income has stayed the same - meaning your income is now only able to purchase fewer goods and services compared to last year when inflation was lower.

Also the products you are talking about are more luxury type goods and so arn't really the goods of which increasing prices are a concern. Its is the basic necessitates (such as food and energy) that have been increasing in price; contributing to the high inflation rate and why so many people are finding it financially difficult.

The goverment and bank of England also have a catch 22 ; If they increase interest rates and reduce spending to combat inflation the failing housing market will also suffer. If they lower interest rates (which is happening in Japan i think) spending will increase adding to inflation but soothing the housing market.

  2. Awesome film, sam dieing was a tear jerker. But in the event of the dark seekers following him home instead of blowing them up (the part of the film outside of his house when the bombs go off) all he had to do was fit his house with UV lights and he would of been safe.

  3. Bought a dungbell tree from sainsburys today because i could.

Only goes up to 4.5kg though, but it's still a bit of muscle tearage. Gonna be hench in a few days. lol

Any plans? 3x15 reps per day at first? Then 5x15reps a day? To build up my biceps.

I wouldn't do it everyday, do it like 3-4 times a week that way you muscles have sometime to heal before tearing them.

  4. Right, i was riding my bike and then for some reason when i let go of the front break the lever returned but the piston however did not it seems like the piston is jammed which means the pads are not coming back or anything. Is there anything i can do to fix it, this sucks as its ment to be sold tomorrow.

    Bhups. P.s it is a 04 lever

Edit: I pushed the piston back by un-doing the bit where it attaches to the hose and pushing it back through with a think allen key but it just gets stuck again when you push the lever balde

  5. Hello,

Recently just got into bmx and was thinking of going to some dirt jumps tomorrow but i have no idea on how to hit them properly. Iv seen them before and the jumps are pretty big with a steep lip. So i was thinking it would be something like hitting it with the right speed and pulling up the front wheel when i get near the peak of the jump then sort of level out in the air? So i was just looking for any advice on how to approach it really.

Any tips or help is appreciated.

    Bhups.

  6. Also me and Andy NBR both had 7 votes but he didn't get any points. Surely he should be joint 5th with me? Maybe have Jon and Tom joint 3rd and move people up the standings?

Sorry to pick it apart, good on you for getting round 2up and running. I'll get out and start snapping, try and get something new for this one.

I got 7 votes aswell, does that mean i have points? (doesnt really matter if i dont - i was just wondering)

  7. Thats the thing. I arnt judging there personality, I am judging the fact I PERSONALLY don't think they deserve a free bikes deal, but thats me.

    Danny.

But to be fair your judging their sponcership and how you feel they don't deserve it by things you have heard or seen on the internt.

  8. I never said i was anything special. Dave and Mike both think i have massive potential. Im only 15 remember. As for my attitude. Most people as judged me as being a twat on here. Met me in real life and its like "Oh your well sound in real life". Strange hey, after all, how can you judge somebody over the internet.

    Danny.

Why judge these guys over the internet then?
