  1. I was see a girl I work with, in the same office, within eye shot of each other. She got drunk one night and ended up getting with another engineer I work with and now they're seeing each other. I see her everyday, I see them both everyday and I still really like her and did hang out with her for a couple of months after but I've had to completely avoid talking to her because I know how much harder it would be if I did.

Its the hardest thing I've had to do and still hate it but I'm getting used to it and so can you.

The van was pretty tricked out, rear ARB full cage, etc. There was one racing last weekend too, I reckon they can be pretty quick if set up right.

Ah, small world King! Should have come and said hello. What were you in? The rain made the day for me, I love it :D

Well I was with 2 friends, one with a standard 1.8 Eunos and the other with a turbo'd 1.6 Eunos. The turbo'd one is black with a comedy BGW on it.

  4. You're not above the law. As a company, bound by legislation, they have to challenge anybody they believe looks under 25. You ARE under 25 and failed to produce ID. I don't see you think you're in the right? As employee's of the company, it isn't worth risking their job(s) just because you want a beer with your dinner.

  5. Hmm, this has got me thinking. I have some bits that I wanted machining which could have been manually machined but if people are offering service out then I may have to jump aboard.

  6. The usual interaction that I receive from a nice girl is " What coffee would you like?"

The thing with Tinder/internet dating is that you can be ballsy (pardon the expression) and if it doesn't work, then move on. You haven't lost anything. Once you've built up a rapport, you can talk about boring/meaningful shit.

  7. I sold a guy a faulty GoPro, described at length as faulty, what the problem was, photos, test video the works.

After a week of eBay dispute because the buyer complained it was faulty, as always the buyer won. Today I got it back (postage at my expense) completely f***ed with a message scribbled inside the box saying "enjoy! karma!" and some bad feedback, fuuuuuucking arsehole!!!!

Take photos and and forward it on to ebay?

  8. I also highly rate old makita stuff. I've had 2 angle grinders in 7 years, the first one died after about 3 years when it jammed on something and stripped the teeth on its gears, and it's replacement is still living, even though it has jumped onto my face/chin today and sent me to A&E but I forgive him. I've very lucky it wasn't any higher up my face.

    Watch out kids!

  9. Mike, I have a plethora of tools/things that could be of use to you if you need it. I'm in Bristol too. Dremel, plusgas, drill, drill bits, easyouts etc. Let me know if you need to borrow anything.

  10. I also normally resent paying garages to do work on my car but again for service history stamps I tend to just get them to do it. Although they wanted £200 to change my front brakes so I bought the parts myself (at just under £100!) and did them today. Only took me an hour and a half including dragging all my tools out and having a cuppa.
