Hi guys,
are there any riders from St Albans or around? Got bored of riding by myself.
-
Please do not put salt in, it will eat your brakes. Salt in water is highly corrosive!!!
-
Cool, guys
I'll come some day... I'll let u know beforehand:)
..but I'm still more learning and I'd like to have someone to ride with regularly to progress better. I don't really wanna travel two times a week just to have a ride, to Bedford or so...
But definitely will come for a ride some times.
Cheers;)

Thanks (: ..The measuers were perfect .. did one of the adaptors in a material called "oriol" its a material we use in school when building models and stuff.. and i sent the adaptormodel to a cnc guy (: so i hope to have them soon.. Thanks again and thanks fpr the comment (:
you're welcome man. Just take care

and also make sure there is enough room for peddaling as the 26" fork is made for bigger wheel, so the whole bike will be set a little lower with 20" wheel.
-
good lookin, just the front wheel doesn't look that strong...
I think I wouldn't be that bold to jump that high on that;)
...how about the adaptors??? Did the measures help you?
speek to u later;)
-
All right, I got the measures.
Here it is
at the second one there are no measures, but the width of the wider part is 10mm and of the thinner part is 3mm
Hope, it will help you.

That frame looks familiar, did you buy it off a guy called joe?
No, it's not been bought in UK
I think i could squeeze a 2.6 maybe tire there if it was a continental as they are quite small for what the size says (:
Still wanderin', do you think I can fit the Maxxis Minion 2.5 in there.. Minions look bigger than continentals.
Cheers!
-
Hi, Yeah the measures would be really nice! I would really appriciate that (: nice Monty also.. The tire is 6 cm wide, hmm fit the rim? How do you mean?..
I mean, the space from the rim edge towards the seat tube. Doesn't the grip of the tire touch the frame (at the place under the seddle)??? ....because the whole wheel diameter is bigger.
I'll send u the measures in a bit.

Hey, I'm building Monty as well and I've got the adaptors. If u want I can send u the measures and pics so u can make the proper ones. I think it's not that difficult.
I'm just wandering, how did the rear 26" 2.5 fit the rim. I've got the 26" rim already but it seems to to be not enough space there for 2.5 tire. is there enough room for that? Thanx.
Some pics of my Monty (in a building phase as well)
It's gonna be a street-trial bike, that's why suspension fork (I havent cut the steering tube yet).
I'll send the pics as I progress as well. Only the frame is used, all the other componetns are gonna be new.
Cheers

Hi people,
I've got problem with orange colour again. I'm looking for grips in orange, but I can't find any anywhere!
Is someone making orange grips??
Does anyone know where can (if I can) get them???
Btw, another topic coming up with this....
What sort of grips do you guys like?? Do you prefer foam ones or gummy ones??? What brand?
Thank you very much for help (don't forget about my problem with orange )
Thanx.

Hi guys,
I've got orange-white frame so I'm looking for orange rim tape into my black wheels.
Do you have any ideas where can I get one? I tried to call Koxx but they don't do orange (but they do orange rims ) Is there anything else I can use as a tape for my rims? ...should look good
Many thanks for help.

Yap, sorry, I have to change it. I ride 26" bike.

I would also recommend inflating your tyres quite hard while you're learning. It decreases the rolling resistance and will make the balance clearer.
