Its not glow in the dark though, its UV reflective.
Think about what you say and ask the differnces?

I cross the England Wales border daily on the road push bike (which can get very windy) do about 14 miles each way including hills. Best time to date was 30 minutes (really pushing nearly passed out when I got home) but average at around 42 minutes. Then just for laughs on the weekend I try and chuck in at least another 100 miles either in two smaller rides or one big shove not that the weather has helped me much this year!
In all honesty its all training for my sponsored Bristol to London cycle ride I have entered. But it has given me the taste for a triathlon or the like!

OK I should perhaps mention that I am building a bit of an old school bike Planet X Zebdi with an 8 or 9 speed cassette so perhaps I could get away with it?

OK so for me that will be probably run gears on the back and am new to cycle trials and unlikely to shear a axle the Hone looks OK? I mean the inner ring is a 22t as standard so thats not a problem? As for the BB's one comes free with that crankset for 90 squid but alone are only about 30 for the specific one and as cheap as 15 for the 105 like on my road bike.
Again thoughts welcomed

Sorry if this has already been covered chaps, BUT I just spent 20 minutes searching and came up with not a lot.
I have a MTB fully fitted with roadie gearing etc with a 105 hollowtech 2 crankset and BB.
Now I am about to build my first trials machine (Stock) and am so happy with the quality and feel of the hollowtech kit was wondering if there was any reason this should not be done? I mean this stuff is super smooth SUPER stiff and relativley cheap, this said I was stunned to see people buying and selling square taper and isis so please could you all point out the obvious that I must be missing?

Very interesting topic for a newbie like myself! So apart from the obvious freezing problems (some anti-freeze has alcohol some doesn't) Has nobody ever had any expansion/heat issues using water?

chain, (no chain, no cogs+bash+tensioner), grips, bar ends, -2stem bolts, tyres, innertubes, 1/2 your spokes, dustcaps, crankbolts (for a while
), one side of your fork, rim tape, brakestheres probs more too
Dustcaps? why could you not live without dustcaps? and bar ends?

they have had some good reviews mainly used for dh though
I remember them being or meant to be one of the best bars about! Certainley from memory they aren't cheap either?
