The spokes can flex in the centre, rather than transferring the load to the head, which is where spokes are more prone to breaking - Butting also makes the spokes lighter. liam-pantera Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 i wouldnt worry about the spoke but the build looks abit pants as i can see from the picture that one of the spokes inst tensioned verywell but it should be fine . try learning to build your own wheels though its loadsa fun and u know how much they were tensioned.
