Janson Posted November 11, 2007 Report Share Posted November 11, 2007 sanding anodising is boring as hell.caustic soda is the best. just get a plastic tub, pour in some caustic soda granulate, add warm water, stir and add the cranks. it will fizz off.you can buy caustic soda at any decent supermarket in the cleaning section. Got a communal bath tub/sink? There you go I stripped my old 'burn bash ring with the stuff ages ago. Watch out for your fingers though, if you rub your fingers together when your using it and they feel "soapy", that's actually your skin acid eroding.
