Captain Scarlet
Is it an internal or external headset? I think the crown race is just one general size or shape so its universal to most headsets (or am I wrong?) If theres a few bits missing it may be worth buying a new headset as I had a few seals missing when I had my Onza internal headset and they are not readily available seperately on a cheap and simple headset. Your wrong mate! Every headset has its own specific crown race! Best bet, is to just buy a new headset, unless its a good one already in there, pig pro, hope chris king or anything like that. Otherwise, just buy a new'un. To get a headset out you need a specific tool. Headset rocket they are commonly called. Or take it to your local bike shop, and kindly ask the mechanic if he will knock your headset out and press you a new'un in. Not a big job at all! _Owen.
Internal headsets should just pull out. If not, try tapping it with a screwdriver (from the inside of the headtube) to try and give it a little nudge. Owen
