Just been playing on the hopetech spoke calc and found that my current spokes will be exactly 1mm too long. Will they be ok to build with?

Sam

Having never built a wheel, this is just what I have heard, so take this with a pinch of salt:

When rebuilding a wheel, you should always use new spokes as they dont take kindly to undergoing tension/no tension/tension again when you rebuild the wheel.

Hope that helps!

its not the retenstioning that does spokes in but if they are the wrong size it is adviseable to use new ones i built my old front wheel with 4mm too long on one side and exactly the right spokes on the other side

yes was undertentioned (to say the least) and did have a mahousive egg but after a few dan taps it would be the same anyways so

... jus got a new echo rim and spoikes.. so

what size do you need might have some laying around as it goes?
