The first thing will work for the cranks. For the BB I'm not sure but why not give it a try. Although are you sure you want to take the BB out?

i really jut want to get the cranks out, and have a look.

i tried the crank puller with both atractments and the square taper is too small and goes straight thou and the bit meant for Isis is too big?

the other tool i brought it usless :S don't no how it would work

any other ideas?

that crank puller should work for that because i have a rockhopper and i use the smae tool but a shimano one and i know that the park tool one works fine! if you look at the puller there is a little metal stud at the end. keep that on and it should work fine!

if that dont work then you should take it to one of you local bike stores and they should do it for you no problem!

thanks :)

The second tool you have got is for the latest hollowtech 2 system with external bearings. You have most likely got the hollowtech 1 system, also known as octalink. Like Tom said putting the extra little stud in should work. When you say its too big do you mean its catching the crank when you screw it in? Once you've got the cranks off you can use any standard isis/splined bb tool (not truvativ design though).
