  1. are you really that of an asshole?

  2. Easy gents I have a hope pro 2 and recently it's started singing it's goodbyes to me with it's own personal touch which sounds alot likc "CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!" Basically sounds like it's skipping, it's like pushbike exhaust backfire Is there anything I can do about it? Ric.
  3. Finally got a bike to upload pics of! Today the weather was shit and rainy so me and a mate decided to go exploring really weird and out of the way dirt trails and back roads around our local wooded area's. Found some great spots and got absolutely filthy. Was great fun!
  4. Yeah~ That's the bit that effin scares the shite out of me. Slooowly making my way though. Busted my tailbone real good earlier too so i'm DEFINITELY learning
  5. Yeahehee~ After several frustrating hours at the park I'm totally starting to get it! I've ditched the little endo rock method for now because the quarter crank turn is really doing it for me. I'm still 1 or 2 degrees away from that perfect balance point but at present i'm keeping it long enough to get 2-3 hops on the back before I falter again. Couple of times I really did click into that perfect point before I overshot one degree and looped out but it felt more "good" than scary. Hopefully this is the start of a continuous curve of improvement!
  6. Oh thank you, that's a nice little pointer, I did see that once actually, I just never came across anything wheel height. Though maybe if I started with my front wheel higher than normal I could get to my balance point easier and make progress from there until I don't need the "ledge" anymore. Tried to practice in the livingroom, didn't go well So~ It's off to the park again for me
  7. Well~ I do find that if I try the quarter crank turn method to do this move when I grip the brake the front end just slams down. What if I made a little hopping lunge forward motion as this happened, would it keep me up and give me a small hop forward? (Probably just explained the technique to himself like a ponce?)
  8. 'llo again, I've still been trying to nail that backhop and I THINK I might be getting there, but it's seriously frustrating to grasp! I just want to iron out a few things that may be going wrong, So firstly, I have little phases where I can really get the bike up to a nice angle and hold it there, though when I try to hop I seem to just make the bike shudder a bit instead and I lean to one side/fall onto the front wheel again. After this I kinda lose the motion I did for a long while until it 'clicks' again. I kind of get it but I don't know how to complete the 'hop' portion of getting onto the back, as all the issues seem to spur from losing my balance on the back. In short: "How do I get the other 10% required to master this move~!"
  9. Ello all! For those of you that haven't met me on a ride yet. Ello all!
  10. I'm definitely in! Hope to god I get alot better before then though
  11. Kona Cowan~ Look like BMX bars without a gusset bar thingy going across
  12. Roger roger, sounds about right to me EDIT: *sigh* I think I f'd it up more. Will try again in the morning -.- Too hot right now, must sleep.
