  1. I’m in Frome mate, haven’t ridden for ages, want to get back in to in this summer though, drop me a PM if you fancy meeting up. I’m still an amateur but would be fun Show me some good spots. Anf.
  2. I shot a football player because I hate myself! If only the first bit was true
  3. White spirits or mentholated spirits should do the job mate, as these are De-greasers, clean them up with that and then wait about 5mins for the excess to evaporate then just ride, and it will be all coooool Let me know what happens. Anf
  4. Hmm well as its both I doubt the calliper is out of line, the reason the washer thing worked with me was because my calliper was off centre so they just pushed it over. Have you tried releasing the leaver adjuster right down then taking the wheel off, and getting a flat blade screw driver in between the pads and prising the pads apart to get the pistons back in to there original place? If you do, do this, be VERY careful with the screwdriver thing, as the pads are made of some weird stuff that crumbles if your to ruff with it. I don’t really know what to suggest other than this mate. Let me know how it goes, and ill rack my brain for some more ideas : D Anf. Edit: Bugger, just realised it’s a BB7 and isn’t hydraulic :$ sorry mate.
  5. Hi dude, 1st, what brake is it? 2nd, are both pads griping the disc? And if it’s just one what one is it? I had this with my juicy 7, but just put some washers in with the calliper mounting bolts to push the calliper over, and it sorted it. Let me know those things and ill do my best to help you out Anf.
  6. Good good, glad to here it btw, what size rotor are you running? also, would a hope plus 20mm work with these as a 203mm rotor would be sweet. Thanks, Anf.
  7. eBay, a guy that’s sells them lives and works about 15 minutes away from me so I rang him up and knocked him down on the price, and I’m going to pick it up so ill save on P+P to Anf.
  8. Ah great thanks mate, I’ve just ordered a juicy 7 for £50, brand new, witch is pretty good I thought and the reason the mini didn’t fit was because I had a number 6 calliper and there only for boxxer forks, and I had a 203mm rotor, and would need adaptors or something? Thanks for the reply, and info dude. Anf.
  9. Hey guys, I decided to sell that hope mini as it was completely wrong for my forks, so I’m now looking for an avid juicy5 or bb7, I was just wondering what one would be the best? And how much are they worth? As I don’t want to spend way over what I should be! Also, if any of you guys have one of these to and are selling it then... I think you know what I’m getting at (sorry if I’m not allowed to put this here :$ ) Thanks, Anf.
  10. Ok cheers, ill just ring them up and ask them about it all. Thanks anyway guys, Anf.
  11. Bugger... yes this is the first time I’ve tried to fit it, is there nothing else I can do? E.g. get a plus 20/40 from tarty bikes, or even get a smaller rotor or something? Thanks, Anf.
  12. Ah, ok thanks mate. Is there one for, lets get back on topic? Anf.
  13. Yep it says 6 on it... here's a pic I just took: [attachmentid=6564]
  14. Evening all, I did my first wheel build today, took about 2 hours but its all good! I then put on my hope mini rotor (203mm) and then tried slotting it into the pads and ive found the rotor is to big...or the calliper is to close so my question's are, What is the biggest rotor I can have? Or can I keep this rotor but get an adaptor to take the calliper away from the original mounting points? Also, whilst I’m here, I need some new pads but don’t know what to get or what shape and stuff, as ive looked about on eBay but there’s quite a few types. Thanks guys! Anf. P.s ive got a number 6 hope mini calliper...don’t know if this information helps but saves you asking for it
