  1. the best bet would be either eBay, or chainreaction cycles and get some budget parts. although if you are building the bike on a super tight budget, you are still looking at about £150 to get it rolling why not start building the bike slowly and with better parts, i guarantee it will be worth it in the long run. either that or get validated and find some bargains in the for-sale section.
  2. you need to be more specific, cranks come in all manner of lengths and variety's. first you need to think of the pro's and con's of each. for example ISIS give a stiffer feel however the bearings die in bottom brackets quickly. also taking into account the price tag of such an upgrade. and square taper may be cheaper but they round off easily. which i suppose is relative to their price. then you need to tell us what bike they are for, a mod or a stock? so people have some idea of what you need, as most people with a mod run FFW and the opposite for a stock. you really cannot just say 'what cranks' and expect a decent answer.
  3. the T-pro is a pretty decent starter bike, most people opt for one due to the similarities to the koxx levelboss frame, which is a pretty sweet deal as you get a full bike for the cost of a frame. however as a newer rider you may only be familiar with all these newfangled XTP's and suchwhat. the T-pro's come pretty well kitted out so i think the most vital upgrade people make to the T-pro immediately will be the cranks, lets face it, onza budget cranks might get you about, but it's certainly not pretty when they go snap. maybe if you're on a supercycles spree, go the extra bit and get some tensiles. another thing will be rubber, as far as i am aware, the T-pro's come with onza Sticky fingers, which to my recollection are pretty poor, maybe have a look at investing in some maxxis creepy crawlers or something. apart from that, you can't really go wrong with one
