I felt the same. Then I figured why not. I'm really happy how it turned out. Im a little disappointed that I'm not using the blue forks. They look heaps better.
I can't use them because I need a long steer tube. That why the long stem. Yes it's a 110mm stem, I found them to be the perfect combination between street and trials on the hex.
Im fairly tall so need the higher set up.
as for the hope cranks, I feel that there a little narrow in the frame( my personal opinion). There a really nice crank set, with the inspired bash it's a perfect fit. I don't know if you have seen how they mount, just a bit tricky compared to most cranks.

Well that was just ace.
Have you been riding forever and a day?
You've just got that style, and it rocks.Bunnyhop gap up to the picnic bench took me really by surprise.
You looked to be going way too slow and then just boosted it up there anyway!Watched your Arcade video too, which I must've missed the initial release of. Equally awesome
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it and my arcade video
fingers crossed that my next video isn't far away.

Well that was way too much motivation to go out and ride, keep that up man! I like not being the only bigger guy riding street, shame you live the other side of the world!
That last crash was horrendous!
thanks.
Sometimes it's good and bad being the big guy. I tend to break stuff a bit more, as you would also be aware.
its great when you smash lines that others can't.

Good video man, where is abouts in AUS are you?
I live in singleton,NSW,2330

The crashes were to good not to share.
I still ride now( not as frequently as I should), this was all pre arcade footage.
Currently I'm filming on my dual disc hex. Video shouldn't be to far away really.
its a bit hard locally because the street riding is non existent, there's nothing, no one to ride with within a 1.5drive.

My local bike shop doesn't even carry the tubes i require 26x2.25. I bearly go there because he is so useless at fixing bikes. Lots of people have issues
-
Ali what gearing are you running in the video?
-
What was it then?
-
The strat dab was a Smart move on his behalf.
I'd like to see anyone try that line. It was huge.
When we had the worlds in Australia there was a similar line. The riders could ride on flat ground under a long. They should have ridden up a skinny incline then gapped across.
He just played on the rules to save points. It was all or nothing.
-
I'm the same as you. I can't stand single wall rims.
I now have a stockpile of rims. Fingers crossed it will last me a while.
The weight loss for reliability isn't worth it.

They have re-designed the whole area. The new junction is much better looking and should be less inclined to crack.
I had my bike nice and early. Mine fell well outside the warranty period.
-
Mine was the very first arcade.
The cracks had nothing to do with the disc mount. It cracked on the seat tube/seat stay junction. Right at the edge of the welds.
-
Not at all. I rode with 203 rotors for the best part of 6months.
I only changed mounts when I started riding more trialsy stuff on it.
-
As mark said, I cracked the original arcade. Same spot they all cracked. The ones that have broken.
Yeah the new mount I just brought didn't work with the new frame. So I had to re order a new one.
It's all sorted now and bike is rimunning amazingly.
I'm loving that I got the frame kit. I can now run a 90mm stem and it's heaps better
-
The red is a really nice colour.
What adapters will you use?
The hope ones seem to be the nicer looking sets. Worth purchasing.
Sadly the disc mount is differnt on the new frames. I brought a disc
Mount, used for a week then found I had a cracked frame.

I uSe the trialtech pads in saints with 8in rotors on my arcade.
The brakes really are amazing. I always have plenty of brake power.
Well worth using.
-
Have you tried the arcade sprocket?
22t with bash guard and fit bmx cranks.
-
Yes it's at the national cycling centre (velodrome) in Manchester. The guys nuts looping that.
Looks nuts.
Keep up the good work on the riding and videos.
I'm really liking the green and blue.

Nice riding man, you look like your having a lot of fun.
Was the big yellow tube, the one that Danny Mac rode in road bike party2?
-
Arcade bars
-
Damon also runs no grinds
-
The part of the diamond disc. Works very well for me.
How long you been using it?
How many grinds?
How much riding have you done with it?
At first I was super impressed, then after using it for many months I started to notice the issues with the durability and consistency of the finish.

Thanks for the heads up on the axles.
Im also a big dude. I weigh in at 117kg. I learnt to be smooth after breaking heaps of stuff.
