Thanks everyone for your comments
For the last few days I have been learning to sidehop to the left and I can get about 2 inches higher.
In the process of learning I have got my foot stuck on a wall and scratched my quick release, my hope caliper, the top tube on my frame and I have been over the bars because I didn't get my front wheel high enough
But it was worth it I feel a lot more comfortable hopping to the left.

I bet your only saying that because your cr*p at themSTOP SIDEHOPS !!!! Der boring as fook!!!

Water works really well.
But you have to bleed them more often (about once a month) because water has tiny particles of air dissolved in it and they all join together and rise to the top and make your brake feel spongy.
This can be prevented by leaving the water you are going to use to stand for a while at room temperature before you use it.

A flat spot is where you have landed to hard on your wheel and part of your rim becomes flat. And if you have lots of flat spots your rim looks like a 50p.what is a flatspot?Quick Pic :

Flat spots are very bad
I would probably buy a new rim
Picture would help so we could see how bad it is.

I ride with my right foot forward and I sidehop to the right. Because of this I cannot couch very well when I land on the wall becuse my foot is in the way. Is it worth learning to sidehop to the left or will I always be better to my natural side?
I have been riding for two years and can sidehop about 38"
Hope that made sense

You could crack your head open by going over the bars and hitting your head on the floor Smashed up faces don't look pretty.Hardly anyone actually wears a helmet unless there trying something silly or are on a ride far away from there home place even then not many people use helmets.
Why do people always ask that? Someone probably pasted his bike up to him? How'd you get up it then?????
Nice drop Pretty smooth

Hi, i'm Matt I live in Allestree which is about a 10 minute ride to Derby City Centre.
Me and my mate Andy ride the city centre every night and it pretty good to ride.
There is quite a good range of things to ride.
Its also a good place to ride because you get to watch Neil Tunnicliffe ride. (He rides Derby most days)
I have also ridden in Heanor a few times which is 30 minutes in the car from Derby and its good there but not as good as Derby.

Cool Video
The music on the second video is poo
and the Monty vs Koxx bit is really cheesy! both bikes look the same and they shoot things at each other
But he is still a really great rider

Spider cakes are the best.
Chocolate fairy cakes with match makers for the legs and icing for the eyes.

I got some Inopia BMX shoes from Tarty bikes and they were really grippy for about 3-4 months and then the grip just disappeared Still wearing them though and because the bottom is so soft they're still quite grippy
I've also got some Vans skate shoes with the waffle soles and they're ace and they last for ever
