to everyone saying it rides shit...
its got to be the nicest stock ive riden, so nice on backwheel, ive not found taps, and front wheel moves any harder at all, only thing harder is manuals and i can hardly manual at all so...
high bottom bracket + high stem/bars I think it rides immense, alot nicer than my zenith anyway!

ok....
Well basically on my non disk rear echo, my shell and bearings kept on moving along the axel. This was because the hub was designed to be used with snail cams on the inside and that would be used as a spacer. However because I have a Zona Zip, theres no snail cam screwholes which means I have to use tensioners. So, because the snail cam spacers were not there, it meant the hub would have a tendancy to move around along the axel. So one day, I busted down to my local wilkinson's and bought a pack of curtain spacers that would fit snug on my axel and it solved the problem That was a 39p bodge that actually worked!
exactly the same problem as a mate! the bearings come out of the hub shell then it wobbles, only way you can sort it out is to take wheel off, hit the bearings back into the hub, get some thing to clamp and hold the bearings in. The ones you get on them are weak and they dont hold the bearings in! orrr just live with the wobble...

been there done that, it felt horrible when i done it, but i had try-all high stem and bars. feels like the front end isnt there and you cant put power in because the front end pulls up so fast.

Just wondering, from two points of view
Do people prefer mod bikes or stock bikes?
partly because, not having a trials bike, there is still the option of buying a mod instead of a stock
but also because i've noticed in videos, mods tend to outnumber stocks immensely.
so, mod or stock, and why?
Its always best to try both if you can. I learnt on a mod then carried on to ride mod for 2 years then started riding a few mates stocks and i felt wayyy better on them.
I hated stocks when I first started but now love

could be a case of that tendonitos? (sp). friend had but he used to kayak race, he could train for about 10 mins then his arm ached that much he couldnt continue. he said it ached in upper arm? towards elbow. anyway that takes agggges to heal, so called its from over stretched tendons? not too sure.
have a long rest, use that heat rub stuff, if it doesnt get better go to docs/physio.

where i am left footet i like sidehoping or when i try i like doing it the right side and when i try to i keep hiting my chain deraller and bent some parts on it i want to get one so it wont get fook up and will save me buying new derallers all the time so should i get one then only £30 pounds on tartybike so should i get one?
cheers
jamie
well 74 kingz upside-down is probably the most discrete tensioner, so if your into side hops to mech side then invest in 74kingz, but up normally it hangs a bit. i run a rohloff, doing good
Tim.
-
i dont leave my "triasler" out side! he does mean bike i gues?
couldnt understand much, started on greasing then went onto dogs?
Tim.
-
ah 74 kingz is awsum, i dont have one my self but ive seen some around... do what rowan's done, turn the tensioenr plate bit upside down, so you run it above the stay, basically unhitable!

that was i was thinking? have you checked your chain line is all straight? chain might be trying to come off rear sproket?
adjust your spacers on hub? or could be your tensioner pushing your chain out or pulling in?
