  1. The second round of the British Trials Series is coming up very soon - Sunday 10th May at Seymours Arena in Oxfordshire. A new venue to Biketrial, not new to motorbikes! Google "seymours arena" to see pictures and videos of this great new venue - well worth the journey!

Online entry is now available, check out the website www.biketrialuk.co.uk for information, entry form and online payment details.

In fact, there's so much going on over the next few months, keep checking the site anyway for information from the UK and from International events.

  2. Our new medals arrive tomorrow for the 2015 series - can't wait to see them, will get a picture up tomorrow night.

Many thanks to our sponsor Trialtech Components for having them made, anodized and etched for us :)

Don't forget to get your entries off, the online closing date is tomorrow night (Thursday).

Oh, and Ash ... it's changed a lot in 10 years! More relaxed, just come along and enjoy a day's riding at a great venue!

The entry list to date is on the website www.biketrialuk.co.uk but entries are still coming in as I type!

  3. Round 1 of the British Trials Cup is on Sunday 12th April (next weekend) at Surrey Hills Cycle Centre (Hook Woods).

The landowners have built several new sections for this year and the weather forecast so far looks promising, so it should be a great start to the season with new sections in the dry!

Entries and info are available from the Events page of the Biketrial Federation website.

The closing date for entries is Wednesday 8th April.

Information on the rules and classes for 2015 is available here.

  4. Online entry is available on our website for the fifth and final round of the British Trials Cup at Shipley Glen on Sunday 5th October.
Head over to the Events page to get your entry in online. A downloadable entry form will be available very soon.
If anyone is able to help out at the event, either by observing or offering any other event support on the day, we'd love to hear from you. It would be fantastic if we could get all eight observers confirmed before the event - if you'd like to help, just let us know!
As usual, huge thanks to those who have helped us already throughout the 2014 season - we couldn't do it without you! Thanks also to our series sponsors for this year, whose support allows us to continue to put on these events.

  5. Round 4 at Bracken Rocks on Sunday was a pretty tough trial! Rain overnight had rendered the sections very slippery and difficult, so there were some very high scores on the first lap. Conditions and scores improved on lap two, however, and we saw some great performances from the riders! Full results and more photos to follow soon.

  8. We had a really good weekend in Blackpool last week, great venue, great event and great riding. Well done and thanks to everyone who came along. Check out our website for results and a video from the event by series sponsors Trials King: www.biketrialuk.co.uk
Round 2 is now approaching and will take place on 7th and 8th June in Fort William. This will be a two day event, although you can just enter one day if you need to. Check out the entry form, below, for details on this and about free entry passes for riders and minders. As usual, online entry is available from the events page of our website.
Don't miss the deadline on this one, late entries to the trial are possible, but you won't be able to get the free entry passes if you enter late.
Hope to see you all there!

  9. What was the turnout on the day? Am I right in saying Blackpool is one of the best attended events of the year? It just didnt look from the video that there were many people riding.

Gutted I missed this one again. Hopefully be along to Fort Bill!

Results can be found here, which shows the number of riders. Entries were slightly lower than last year sadly, but still a good turnout.

    Hopefully see you in Scotland!

  10. Just under two weeks to go until Round 2 of the British Trial Cup in Blackpool on Sunday 4th May!

In addition to the 'Moon Rocks' sections along Blackpool North Shore, we will have a man-made section up on the main promenade, offering something different for the riders and hopefully a bit more spectacular for the public!

Onza Bikes are providing a brand new Tyke bike for the winner of the MTB class (some conditions apply, please see our website for further details) and TartyBikes will also be on hand, running the give-it-a-go area for anyone that fancies trying out some of the techniques on display in the competition

Unfortunately, due to some organisational difficulties, Onza will no longer be providing a Tyke for this round.

Entry forms for the competition are available from www.biketrialuk.co.uk/Events.htm

  11. The UCI have made the race parameters and registration deadlines for their 2014 Trials World Cup available on their website. Please check the information carefully to make sure you know what you need to do if you would like to compete in this year's UCI World Cup! The calendar and schedules can be seen here (the final round in Antwerp is still to be confirmed). It would be great to see some more British riders taking part this year!
