Donkeys!.... Ill be calling you in the morning then... Unless you can change it to a 36 hole hub magically... or the Black Onza T-master hub with 36 Holes......
EDIT - Any news on how quick i can get a wheel built might have another idea, and spend more money...
hi did you put the freewheel on the cranks that came originally with the holroyd ? as i have the same cranks and want to put a freewheel on but not sure if there designed for it .

Theres a trials park in barnolswick, yorkshire thats trials pacific just not big enough.
Matt Rushton
can you take pictures of it and post them on here. i would be interested in seeing that!
-
i might come on sunday see if my mate wants to come , whats the whole bmx thing about ?
-
i live in witham which is next to braintree so really hope it does come off , but its unlikely or maybe thats just me trying not to get my hopes up. really there should be atleast one trials park in the country theres hundreds of skateparks .

you cant really get a heavy mod ,when you ride stock then have a go on someones mod it feels super light . i think lighter the better aslong as it does'nt comprimise strenght
-
Just noticed where it is. I often(ish) ride colchester with luke n that i wouldn't mind visiting that spot either! Looks good.
would'nt bother now , the builders wrecked it the pallets anyway, the pipes are still fine so if you wanna come down il meet you at the station and show you round theres some good street aswell depending on what sort of level your at , and yeah i wanna come ride colchester aswell

Yea clearance is minimal with a chainring, when i had my orbita cranks they actually rubbed the chainstay at one point and that was 22tooth i think but made a spacer for my UN-53 BB...now i use front freewheel (ENO) which is 18tooth and so much better with a 127.5mm Koxx BB, loads of clearance
Steve
ah nice one , i was thinking of putting a front freewheel on but was worried it wouldnt fit as theres not that much space , the 22t chainring i got with mine rubbed the frame as well and cut abit of the frame away but its been like it for months and hasnt changed so it seems pretty strong, cheers for the info
-
I fancy a change, I was going to get a new frame but decided I can't afford So, would a high rise stem make my bike feel like poop? Or would it make it feel nicer, I searched but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
im thinking of doing this on my t-rex so when you do it give a review in here , thanks

yeah il have them off you for a fiver

ENO lockrings don't come loose becuase they have sealed bearings.
Nope, it wont.
ENO's only come in 18t. If you have an 18t freewheel on the rear, you do really need a 27t cog up front to have a decent gear ratio.
On your mission, you'll probaly have a 24t cog on the cranks, so putting an 18t freewheel on the rear will mean you will have a much lower gear ratio than most peoples mods.
But yes, it will work. It'll work very very well.
thats crazy talk...lol 22t to 18t is fine and so would 20t to 18

my worst nightmare!

cheers
-
looks cool ,what size chainring you got on the front and what size bottom bracket cos ive got a fsa platinum pro dh 73/128 with 2 spacers drive side and a 18 t chainring , just wondering if i could fit a 20t or 22t

I always think to myself that i will deffineatly try to eat healthy, and maybe i can last abit longer on the rock sections, but if you really think about it , its not really your health affecting the way you ride its just how good you are, the less experienced you are at trials the harder its going to be to hop around things, which means you are going to get alot more tired. The harder you ride the section the harder its going to be on you. Thats what i say
Cheerz for the comments people.
Hope i make sense.
yeah i get what your saying all the extra correction hops takes it out of you where as pros can just balance whilst hardly moving for as long as they like .
i think breathing tecnique has to do with it aswell cos sometimes i find myself holding my breath
-
what tensioner is it sound totally weird, post a picture up
-
nah dont think so mate sorry , they look abit rusty to ( might just be picture) so maybe get new ones with disk mounts
-
Dual maggy all the way.
Disk's suck
Except filthy cable disk's I suppose, The rotor's still like snapping though...
dual maguras are ok but it means you have to buy 2 sets of expensive pads when your grind eats them . but with disks the pads take forever to wear away ive never replaced them and the brakes perfect saves money i think.
also with front disk you can whip the wheel off in a second to put the bike in your car if your going somewhere
-
i know that i would and my mate would to, i think everyone would really
-
I think it looks a cool, but standing still for a few seconds on your back wheel looks even cooler? I mean, you can jump much higher starting from back wheel + it looks nicer..
So the choise is made actually, right ?
Greets,
Sam
i know what your saying about stalling on the back wheel it does look cool but i dont think it looks nicer its almost like cheating cos you hardly have to jump because your front wheels normally above the object already so all you have to do is jump abit put your front wheel down then swing the back on .
where as with both wheels down you have to explode all the way from the ground onto the object and i mean landing both wheels at the same time, that looks cool in my eyes anyway
-
nah they don't, just make every entrant sign a disclaimer to even acts of god.
yeah i think you could just have a "riders use this at the own risk" type sign like they have at skateparks but it might be differnt for indoors
-
i want to as im abit flabby but cant bring my self to do it , i love food tooooo much . i do think being lighter would improve my riding thou so i might diet one day
-
does everyone sidehop from the back wheel its more impressive from both wheels flat i think or is that old school style ??

does the freewheel screw on to the 24 seven cranks ok becouse i only have the cranks not the whole holroyd i got them of my mate who upgraded his holroyd to middleburns and was it hard to get the chainring off ?
