Can you even buy hashtags stuff anymore ?

Why isnt it called pound sign? Why is this a hashtag when did it become something other than the pound sign #######

    #inspired #streettrials #badbusiness #getmegollowers #fallow4fallow #ineedlikestofeelreal #helpmefeelreal #worstnameevermade #likefivetriplefootjamwhipsinarow #sofrench #sobad #declarebankruptcy #neverforgetKOXX

As far as I'm aware, hashtag is not a currency. That could go some way to answering your queries.

  2. Plus I don't think Jitsie was around in the 90's :P:P:P

But yes, it appeared on facebook too and I was jumping down people's throats suggesting that they have not lived until they have experienced a proper cage pedal to the shin!

  3. I have two, but I'm not parting with either of them. I still ride one of them in a brakeless, hard tyre, streety sort of setup, pretty much every week. The other is tucked away, along with some Cannondale Fatty R forks, Yellow HS33s, Middleburn Pro Trials cranks, a DCD, and other gems from the time. I want to build it back up with more parts from around that time but some things are probably never to be seen again.

Best of luck in your search matey.

  4. A mate of mine has embarked on a brilliant project to restore an old country house on the Isle of Lewis to become a centre point for all things mountain biking and I have been given permission to build a trials playground once the renovation work is complete. There's a video that tells the story and outlines the plans so please give that a watch for all the gen. On the trials side of things, I really want to hold a few comps over here on the Isle of Lewis and having a facility where kids and newbies can try a few things alongside more experienced riders to help them along will lay the ground work to having healthy numbers for competitions. Thank you for your time, please give the video a watch and if you feel like it, please drop us a couple of £ to help out.

  5. Organic pads definitely made a difference on my BB7. Currently running a Mono Trial which I used to hate but had to switch back to it so had a tinker with it and now I love it! Feels like it has as much bite as a BB7 but with more modulation.

  6. As a guy from a motorbike background ( if you wear your tyres backwards they get worn out 10x sooner) I am not sure if this thread is filled with a strange trick or with irony.

Ah to make me buy more tyres sooner? Nah, Adam once did him self out of a better sale to make sure I got the best part for my needs, top bloke!

  7. Ok thanks for the replies lads. Yeah I was aware that the direction arrows are for the tyre's original intended use - going fast over slippery terrain, but I looked on Tarty Bikes and saw that the bikes fitted with Maxxis tyres on the rear have the yellow Maxxis logo on the drive side, which would be as the suggested rotation. Then I figured this may be due to the person responsible for assembling the bike having to follow certain regulations.

I had just removed a High Roller funny enough. I guess you would find higher rolling resistance the wrong way due to it's design!

  8. I'm sure this has been discussed before, I did search but couldn't find anything.

Just fitting a Minion on the rear wheel and looking at it I'd say it would be better for trials run against the suggested rotation due to the ramped and un-ramped edges on the tread blocks.

Just wondering if any one else had done this and what their findings were.

  9. Might work but I would not be wanting to try that out. It'd take way too long.

I actually did this way back when ground rims were first 'discovered'. I just made lots of tiny shallow cuts pointing toward the centre of the wheel. Worked very well but did take a while!

  10. do you mean where the HA angle line comes out, it don't meet the 1000WB line? so it would be better with a 990ish wb?

The centre of the front axle won't be in line with a straight line right down the centre line of the head tube due to the rake of the forks.
