  1. Got my echo sitting currently at 8.5kg Im not sure but if I changed the old echo pure v-forks, Got the ti bottom bracket, ti pedal spindles and carbon bars and changed out the standard tryall front rim id be looking at a stupid weight pretty close to 8kg.

  2. A lower front end? I've got about 38mm of stackers, a 70x25 stem and high rise bars so my front end's relatively high :P

Rear hub's a King which is virtually silent.

On a scale of low to high, that`s rather high. loving the video makes me want to get a wee bike to play on.

  3. It's not just the offset with burns, you'd have issues with the BB not giving any space for a front freewheel. HT2 is quite wide, pressfit BB like the echo kit, but to one of the MTB standards would be better, no clearance issues, bigger and stronger bearings; win!

Since you mentioned it Middleburn should get there act together and bring out some cranks that will take a free wheel for the trials market.

  4. Avid single digit 7 callipers with a v brake booster and that should stiffen it up a beast. Also take into consideration the inner and outer cables the standard shimano stuff seems to do the trick for me, Perhaps a linear slick if you fancy some bar spin action. Also you will probably be able to pick up some nice cnc pad backings which would finish off a rather tasty brake setup.

  5. - The bigger 24" brother of the super grippy Small Block 8 tyre from reknowned manufacturer Kenda, designed by legendary rider John Tomac.

    - Made with a harder centre tread (60a) and a softer side tread (50a) to reduce rolling resistance but still give good grip when on off camber surfaces.

    - Created with a special slow rebound rubber to try and help make the tyre more predictable and grippy.

    - Ideal for use on street or dry rocks.

    - Due to it's slimmer profile, it's ideally suited to the front of your 24"!

    - Banks of 8 low profile blocks make the tyre as grippy as possible.

    - Relatively thin sidewalls help keep the weight of the tyre down.

    - Available in 24 x 2.10".

    - Weight: 576g

Dont look like a comp tyre to me. unless your comps are on street and dry rocks?

Pretty sure I remember seeing Ben Savage riding with a front and back Schwalbe on his 24"

Possibly a smart sam or Some form of racing ralph

  6. By all means have it, but I am certainly not the only person who only has a weekend off once in a blue moon. I need dates for these things way in advance so I can book them in with my boss. when something gets cancelled I cancel my time off so I can get other weekends off to go ride.

  7. do you need hi tops in comps??

    cheers

Believe it or not Gary not everyone who rides trials rides comps, some don't even ride natural and choose to ride in the street on man made things like concrete. But yeah the new rules are high tops guns and gold chains to make the sport appeal to the kids more.

  8. Looks great! I remember few years back people saying they rode really shit because of the high BB. How things change..

Probably because they weren't riding a high enough front end, most folk who had them had very low/flat bars and flat stems. Now every one knows where its at high bb and high bar/stem to match.

I don't actually have words for the crack on the Ozonys just whaaaaaa

  9. I am finding a similar problem with my atomz UN Elitis rim, only seems to hold a grind for a very short time using Rockman blues and TNN Belay pads which are some of the best performing pads on the market. The next step I am taking is to try some heat sink yellows as I used to use them on a tryall rim with a dead grind and found them to be awesome. New rim time if that dont work.

  10. Push yourself to ride more longer lines (or shorter lines longer  ) by setting yourself goals/targets and once you achieve them stretch them even further and you will be surprised how quickly your energy will improve.

  11. I use these wee beasts, base is epic. different sizes of buds, good cable, and good joins at the socket and ear pieces themselves makes these really good for riding 1 pair in years, better than the cx 300 I had which broke after a few months use.
