I like the look of them, and judging by how nice their brakes sound. I like it :S

Stone cutting disc (Y)
Thats what I use, put the wheel in a vice, and spin the wheel the direction of the disk rotation and it ends up minted.

Well, just to say I was running my tyres at 20psi the other day and rimmed out dropping of 6 foot.
-
when I first started this post I was using 50 PSI, god how wrong was I, now I use 25psi. Much better and dosn't rim out that much

Heres a few pics of my bike in sunny old wales, ermmmmm.
The redness.
My bike, perfect, I looooove it.
Bliss, with the trials garden in view, gap wall to wall, up the slates, on the wall and drop off.

ok before u do the whole wetting your rim thing take your koxx bloxx and cut 3 large X's across the surface with a hacksaw about 1.5mm deep.. then clean out all of the cut up plastic from inside where u cut cos it builds up. Then replace them on your bike and do the water jobbie.. BELEIVE ME THEY WILL WORK AMAZING! I did mine on sunday and they f**kin rule! THe problem with koxx bloxx is that they are completely flat so if u get any water or oil on your rim or even dust it all builds up on the surface of the pad.. The x's help to take some of it away and they work amazing
t I done mind cos it's usually wet theese days.

I use a Mavic 717XC very good rim for smoothish street riders as long as you keep the wheel true and the spokes tight.

I got my T-pro last week ( I'm not allowed it till Xmas but anyway...) and I was wondering what is the Pinch Protection is like on the 20" Sticky Fingers.
Apparantly it is very good. I will find a post about it now.

I've used a wire brush fitting on an angle grinder, just take the disk off and put the wire brush on, really light compared to a proper grind but gives u an advantage if you don't want to slaughter your rims to much.

Well, if he was 10 miles out of Wales the only way that'd be possible would be to be in the sea :-
Near Swansea aren'tcha?
All MBUK boys have found it's 'cool' there so they do bike tests there too.
Claim to fame: Saw Chris Smith riding there before he became 'big' (I.e. before MBUK took his cock every month), doing double barspins on his Curtis, and barspin to fufanu and shit on the big midi quarter. Weird lad, he is...
Mark.
I live in caerphilly next to cardiff, I've even got u on my msn mark.

I have the problem only when I'm walking, but thats not often, not great pain but enough to notice.

I reckon the best rim for the rear for street is the Mavic D521, it takes loadsa abuse and has never failed me for the 1 and a hlaf years I've had it, still perfectly true, and the spokes are all nice and tight. For natural though wider rims would be better for more grip and stability.
-
I reckon the best rear brake set up you can have is plaz pads, with ones side of the rim lightly ground and the other with a little bit of tar on it, my mate runs it like this and it is perfect, it's soooooo grippy.

I think the best combo is an El Gato on the rear, and a hot s up front, el gato is fine if you use a nice downhill tube, havn't had any pinch flats in ages, really grippy too.
