Right I have just go my profile built on to an alex dx-32 rim the rim is still smooth and i have some zoo pads, just wanting to know wether to keep smooth rim n use tar with the pads or get a grind, Anybody out there use zoo pads on a smooth or a grind? Comments appreciated
right i'm using a 2007 zoo python and i need to know what size bottom bracket i need to use, i am using a profile, an echo 18t cog on the front with a tensile bash thats on zoo! isis cranks, can anyone help me out??? cheers
Right well my pads are square on the rim and the pads are bout 2mm away from the rim plus i use a echo control 4 bolt booster and the brake is perfectly bled, and i have already got tarty bikes to grind my rim twice!!! no i land on top of the rail because i can do it on my mates bike
i used to have a try all freewheel till i got my profile and yes they are definately worth the money, the freewheel is sealed and never slipped on me once plus the try all freewheel is reliable.
Right well my brake is pretty poor at the moment what do you lads use, i use plazmatics pads on a grind it makes a really squeaky noise which is a good thing. it is fairly strong brake but wen i do rails the brake jus slips all the time, so what should i change to??? is a smooth rim better than a grind?
