  1. Bike: 100% This means you're: Pro biker i didnt realise i could become pro after half a year of doing trials lol
  2. This happens to me anf my friends every week. The good thing is that all the policeman in braintree are useless and they never do anything. they tell us to go away give uys a writen report and all we do is go and ride again once the copper has gone. If you keep a look out when riding your favourite spot you can see if there are any cops then just leave straight away if there are. JUST DONT RIDE THE SPOT EVERY DAY AND IT ATTRACTS LESS ATTENTION
  3. There are 2 options here mate. 1) you ring up magura and probably end up speaking to some german that you cant understand (maguras are german) OR you could ring the place you brought them from and get them to sort something out for you. 2) You go to your local bike shop find out how much it will cost to be fixed and if its not alot then it saves alot of hassle but if it is a lot to fork out then take option 1 i hope this helps you. Although i am very bad at english and sometimes get my sentences muddled up. i hope i wrote these in the write order lol. hope ive helped
  4. You got that one right. Its not nice when you whack your nuts on the stem. but the most common injury must be shin+pedals. this happens every time i ride (so i bought new pedals lol bit more grip) but still it is easily done and the pain can be rather bad sometimes.
  5. This has definatly helped thank you for the information. I will not be entering any of the competitons in these next few weeks but hopefully in the next month or so. my standard of riding is ok. you can watch some of our videos on youtube. here are some links: our website (several vids) if on our website you watch the bottom right video that one mainly consists of me. i am the one of the saracen mad 2 zero, i now have a echo team but i have only just got this bike today so i havnt shot any videos yet. can you please comment on how good you think i am and what sort of standard of riding i will be at in the club( for example where in a competition would i place) Thank you for spending your time to read this and you have helped considerably with the information that you left for me Thanks Reece there is one thing i am not to sure about but to go to the practice session do you have to be a member of the club and have a licence. If you dont then you will probably see me and my friends very soon but if you do then me and my friends will come along in a few months once we sort everything out and sort out transport.
  6. this is some strange convesation going on here man. Anyway; you are probably lucky not to be injured mate because snapping your forks doesnt happen all the time. i have never snapped my forks and dont plan on doing so lol. when you get link workin please post it here as i would like to see your forks. (i bet you was pretty anoyed when you realised you snapped your forks though wasnt you mate)
  7. cool. its good that you know hutley because that makes it easier for us to meet up and ride(he is a better organiser than me lol) Anyway:: if you add me on msn maybe we can talk and work out a date to go ride witham or braintree. On friday we are doing a comic relief ride in braintree so if you would like to join us that would be great seeing as witham is just up the road. I have heard that witham is a really good place to ride, i used to do rollerblading and i used to go to the skatepark, but we mainly went to the street spots as these were absolute wickid. I will try and get hutley to organise a ride in the near future at witham. As i say if you add me on msn this makes it a lot easier to talk rather than posting on the forum: reecehearn@hotmail.co.uk
  8. hi ryan its reece if you didnt notice my signiture lol. i suggest the dmr v8s because eric has rode them since he had his bike and they are still fine the only problem is the little nobly bits which stick out(these can hurt if u hit your shin but mainly these will snap off or bend if you hit them on a wall)(thats not so good lol) Had to edit this cause i didnt finish my sentance lol. i have a very low attention span
  9. it doesnt matter if you are not good yet. you dont have to be good to ride a good trials bike. it just will make it a bit harder to start out on really. it will just take getting used to and thats pretty much the only hurdle
  10. hello to all the witham riders. i live in braintree and ive heard there are some trials riders in witham. Please add me on msn reecehearn@hotmail.co.uk and we can tlk a bit easier on there. maybe we can meet up and ride braintree and witham. we also have a site which is in my signiture if you would like to view it. i think it is down at the moment but will be back up and running shortly. Any way if you can reply here things like how many of you in witham there are and how good it is there then thats cool. There are around 20 of us in braintree and we have lots of videos on youtube and google video (and our site). Please do not reply here if you are not a witham rider as this complicates things (thank you)
  11. comic relief ride is going to be held in many different places because us braintree lot are holding one and there will be one in brighton and one in leeds so you cant poll this mate its a stupid topic
  12. Get halfords foam grips is the easy answer. i am going to buy some myself, they are only around £10 so its not too exspensive for grips to be honest.
  13. Charlie you should really look through the forum before you post something. Marcus posted this video a long time ago. a week or so now. And i dont think you will be getting validated if you make 4 topics with about 6 words in the desription charlie.
  14. As you have just got the hang of dropping i suggest that you gradually work your way up to bigger things. This is so you get your technique right, this is because your technique will gradually change as you get onto bigger things.
  15. i use ordinary football shin pads. they protect your ankles and the lower half of your leg. the only bad point is if you hit your knee but if you have ordinary shin pads i suggest you where them till you get some proper ones. they dont get in the way at all, you wont even notice they are there.
  16. That was some sick trials mate, and for your age of 13 i am very impressed. you have had some bad comments on the music but i think it went ok. i bet you got in trouble for riding on the roof lol (that was sick)
  17. i have my year 10 exams next week and lately i have been riding till about 8 ish and revising for about 2 hours a night. but during my study leave i am gunnurevise in the morning and go out on my bike in afternoon till about 8 ish then revise again. its quite simple
  18. lol. it doesnt matter if you show us all up ben. it means we get to learn something. if u can make it please come down anyway
  19. All you need is a big beast of a booster as this will take the brake power rather than the frame. it should also make ur brake work a bit better and make it more reactive. just remember not to go cheap and get a magura one as they dont stop the frame flexing because i got them with mine and they are seriously pants. hope ive helped
  20. hi courtney, i dont like the frame on that bike. BUT it will be a good starter and u can always just get a new frame when u get a bit better and more into trials. just check that the tyre isnt one of those 2.8's like the monty 219 alp because i hear it makes the back end of the bike weigh a ton. hope ive helped.
  21. 1) Braintree is located in essex which is in east of england 2) There are around 15-20 riders in braintree and there are plenty of spots. Its not the best place to ride but its enjoyable. We also have an area with around 30 crates which we have permission to use. The industrial area is the least explored place in braintree. all i know is that there are a lot of crates up the industrial area that people dont mind us using. (if people do decide that braintree isnt easiest to get to we can always just change it to chelmsford or colchest er fopr example. but it would have to be near by as some braintree riders have limits on where they can travel as they are not quite as old as me and some others. although there are some pretty good riders in braintree
  22. i recommend that we have a comic relief braintree ride. all we have to do is wear red or spray our hair red. One big advantage of doing this will be getting us noticed. As all the braintree riders know wherever and whenever we ride we have people throwing us off and telling us to go away. But if we ride sensibly for this day, maybe just ride the skate park and anywhere out the way. We could finally get the council to give us a designated area for us to ride. When we have got this all organised one of us braintree riders will create a new topic with the times/date etc.. Anybody welcome to come ride with us
  23. i saw that mate and i want to buy it but i cant post there maybe thutley can post my msn addy on there for me
  24. it was a wickid ride. to bad i dont have a better bike to ride though. im hoping to get a new one soon but im just waiting till i see an echo or zoo python or something along the lines of that for around 350(my budget lol)
  25. is that jupe you are on about hutley. and yeh it is a nice bike but it is way to short unless u are about 5 feet tall like someone i know lol
