I know this isnt the proper forum for this but Im in dire straits right now. I need a mod fork with disc mounts for my monty. Preferably the seller be in the states but if hes overseas I dont care as long as the fork is in good condition and the shipping cost isnt outrageous. Just hit me up if u guys got anything lying around.

Im sorry if I wasnt clear with what I posted. I got a set of Hayes 9 disc brakes with the 8 inch rotors and put one on the front of my Monty. I mounted the front and found that there were two problems: first off was that the rotor was still rubbing up against the brake pads even though i adjusted the caliper as far as it would go. the second problem was that the brake adaptor that attaches to the frame is to big so it doesnt allow the rotor to catch the pads. Its only catching about a cm or so on the rotor. I was wondering if anyone had run across something that would fix this problem. This weekend or so im bringing my bike into a shop and see what they think about the brake situation. Also i fixed the rubbing by putting a spacer between my hub and fork which i hope that i can take out once i get a new bracket for the caliper. Ill be sure to post my results when i figure everything out.

i justed readjusted the caliper all the way over and it still is rubbin up against the pad. i must need a new brake mount adapter. anyone got any advice the will allow the whole rotor and not cause rubbing. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im not too new with the trials riding but the other day I upgraded my monty with some Hayes 9 disc brakes with the 8 inch rotors. I got it all setup and found out the brake mount isnt working to good. I got the brake all way and the rotor is still rubbing up against. Also the other problem is that i need a smaller one so the rotor cna touch the whole brake pad. If anyone else has faced this problem could you help a brother out. Other than that the brakes are f**kin sweet.
