I don't think I'd ever use V instead of magura. I have no problems with it. Slaves don't return -- use silicone spray, it washes out the dirt and lubricates the surfaces. It also makes the rubber parts live longer.

No way, Magura is the best. I've tried my friend's bike, he's got V-brakes, and it is awful. It feels spongy, I barely had any control. My Magura works perfect. I bleed it once a month and use silicone spary to clean and lubricate it. By the way I have a question. I don't use the origian Magura oil to bleed it, insted a use antifreeze. What do you use?
