  1. I could list so many great vids, but iconic ones??

TrialsKings-Otherside - The greatest street video of all time.

Adam Reads Nottingham Coust video - The greatest display of French style ever.

oh and Andrew Tonkerys FTC 5 - Song choice and editing set a standard for trials videos, which i don't think has been beaten yet.

  2. howdy gents.

right, 11:00 at westminster, if you can...

for those who can't get there, leave numbers on here and we'll catch up as we head east, towards southbank.

also, does anyone know where the f**k chai is??? i've been trying to speak to him for 2 weeks, with no luck?? weird.

    see you soon guys.

  3. I agree dave, some riders seem to expect a sponsorship to come to them. Ali C mentioned in a recent post that he was sponsored ages before he started making vids, but he rode alot of comps and knew/knows all the major players in the UK trials industry so has a benefit there.

Maybe people DONT care about it anymore, but there have been a few topics recently about getting sponsored in NMC. My advice would be to make vids and ride how YOUwant to ride, whether this be street / UCI street / natural etc etc and people who comment on vids have got to stop saying oh its just trying to be CLS or DAMO or Tunni, if thats how the person rides, that how he /she rides. this puts that person off and then negative thoughts on whether he/she are good enough to be sponsored and thus wont approach anyone.

if you are lucky a shop / compnaywwill approach that person then your obviously a good rider and have been noticed, however keep making vids etc and then people will get sponsored.

  4. hello fellows (andy/steveo/adam/timmy/stephen?/adrian)

a top American chappy is coming over from 4th-8th of october. Jonathon Tollerud be his name.

you may or may not have seen this >>> http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=23247

its the best example of his film making and lucky for us, he's bringing his camera as opposed to his bike.

i'm hoping to sort out a ride on the saturday, rather than sunday. please let me know if you can make that ride or any ride in the week leading up to it.

    cheers guys.

    EDIT: THATS SATURDAY 7TH OKAY

  5. cheap = anything diesel.

cheap and awsome = do yourself up an old mini, costs next to nothing. then insurance is low and if its 30 years or older, its exempt from road tax...which i've just paid £90 for 6 months.

edit: unless you don't like minis...then that info is useless

  6. Erm, not really no I don't see where you're going with it.

Some people don't understand tattoos and you appear to be one of those people. Unless you get a tattoo of your mum or something then chances are one day you won't be into whatever it was you had tattooed, that's just how it goes, but if we gave a damn then no one would ever get one and this thread wouldn't exist! Tattoos are about memories, they are about who we were as much as who we are!

So no, I don't like HIM anymore, but I still love my tattoo and the memories that come with it, plus it still looks good and I get nice comments from hot emo chicks who do still like HIM :P

    Davey

    weeeerd.

i'm having a Pink Floyd back piece drawn up. they are the greatest band of all time, to me at least, so it seems right for me now. if i don't like them so much in the future, then iit will be there to remind me of great times i had, drinking guinness in the woods with friends listening to the floyd.

i also have a transformers tat to remind me how great it was growing when i did. ;)
