Strong - maybe
Excellent performance - hell no
Value for money - Definitly.
If you're starting out then yes its an ideal bike. As you say cheap as chips but good enough for the job

him and his gang are top of the leage in trials in london.

shaun
p.s what do you people think of blue (hubs) and pink (rims) ??

Check your pedals and cranks are tight.
OIf they are and it still does it, it's your freewheel.
Which means you have to tighten it.
[attachmentid=9081]
Get a small screw driver and put into the wholes next to the arrows on the picture and hit it with a hammer in the direction shown in the picture.
id do this beofre every ride.
Jobs a good 'un.
ye you can do that, but it comes loose again after about 4 hours riding,
id just get a new tensile or sumthing

hey mate,it swas Giro Xen and yea it did what it was made for and held out well!!!
k cool, how long did you have it for??
shaun
-
hey i have had the giro about a year and parts of it are cracked some parts snapped!!
well it sorta did its jod then didnt it??
shaun
-
I can't see it improving gaps if you've learned to engage the freewheel first and then pedalkick. It will certainly make short run up moves easier and more precise.
Some people say the Try-All is not as good as it sounds (one has already been destroyed my end, in a matter of weeks). Loads of Hungarian riders have f**ked theirs. Go for the ENO if you have the money.
ye im with you.
or if you save and get a profile on a new rim, you have got the best of both worlds havent you, got new rim aswell
shaun
-
thats good, thanks for your help. Any one thats brought one, did it make it easy to do gaps etc?
a couple of my mate have got tensile freewheels and there really really nice to ride with, sound really crisp aswell, if u like the noise that is
