  1. Iv got a Monty 221Pr, i love it to ride but, i have had i two months and i have just found a lil crack under the steertube :(, they are a very nice frame to ride, but they are VERY weak, my mate snapped 2 in less than 6 months. so if your are concidering on getting one, expect it to crack in a few months time...

    cheers...Shaun...(Y)

  2. Hi mate, i would go for the 2007 Hope mono mini trials, not the mono mini, cause i had one of thoes and there just is not enough power behind them, as they are made for XC riding.

iv heard that BB7's explode if they are put on the rear :S god knows??

    Hope ***!!(Y)

    ...cheers...Shaun..(Y)

  3. The best way to sidehop, i found out is to, get on to your back wheel, stay parralell to the wall at all times.

look at the part of the wall you wish to place your front wheel on to.

lower your front wheel about 1/2-1ft and then just stomp on the peadle, place your wheel on the wall, and then just tuck up with your legs and your back wheel will follow on to the wall....

    hope iv helped....

  4. Hi people,

Right, ill start wi my monty 221pr, iv just built up with rear disk, i didnt have any money for a new one so i pinched my old hope mono mini (like a 2004-5 modle) and it didnt work that bad at first, but now its is sh**e, iv done everything to it...sanded pads, new pads, sanded rotor, boiled rotor, and also re-blead it like 5 times, and nothing is happening.....it is getting worse!!:@

Im entering the british comp at blackpool aswell this weekend, so i need to decide soon....please help me..

What do u people recomend...go back to the trusty maggi and get some caust pads and what not....or splash out on a new mono mini trials for £140 from aire valley.

    Thanks people...Shaun...(Y)

  5. i used to have a hope mono mini on the rear of my monty, i personally wouldn't recomend it, first trick i did it slipped and i ended up on my arse :-

Then i changed to the hope trial one, which was fine, held really well.

    Chris

iv got one on the back of my monty, but it seems to be working very well today ofter a good days riding...so i dont know what to do now, slash out on a new one or keep mine :Slol

  6. You'd have to get a massive rotor to make it anywhere near a decent trials brake.

What i'd do is buy a Hope Mono Trials Caliper and attach it to your existing lever and hose, if you really want a disk.

i were thinking about that, bt i cant find one, and there is none on Ebay, soo, u know any where 2 get them form??

    cheers anyways...Shaun...(Y)

  8. That bike is very nice, if i had the money i would pay 500 pounds quite easily. How much have you spent on it so far?

    Kyle.

i spent just over 800 on it just short of two month ago, so if i can get 550 for it i would be really happy...:)
