  1. The echo grips are amazing once they have worn in a bit, and they are cheap
  2. I had Try-Alls and they last me quite a long time considering they are soft compound.
  3. I have an 04 Pitbull at the moment, i think they are 5 degrees bb rise and they are still very nice bikes to ride.
  4. Yer the way to solve that is if the threads do snap then just stick a longer bolt in so it will grab the left over thread but make sure you don't overtighten the longer bolt or you will have to buy a whole new lever and they quite expensive for the 05 ones.
  5. Yer it is a personal prefence but the 04 levers eventually fall off unlike the 05 and the 05 sends the fluid straight whereas the the 04 sends it sideways, it really makes no difference. O yer and the 04 looks better.
  6. Cheers everyone... the lever i have is amazing now and the brake is working a lot better after i tryed most of the things that people said was a good thing to do to it. Thanks for the comments
  7. Hey... I just bought an avid bb7 203mm with a shimano xt lever, and i was wondering what everyone does to make thme better because mine dosen't seem to be working as good as i thought. I have tryed using disc brake cleaner it only makes a slight difference. Thanks Grant
  8. Get the echo one from tartybikes, i have one and they are really reliable.
  9. Cheers... Yer sometimes when i run low pressure my innertube slides round Cheers for the comments.
  10. Hey... i was just wondering what tyre pressure everyones runs in the front and back. I don't really know what to run on my pitbull. Cheers... Grant
  11. Go for the Echo freewheel, i have used them and they very nice and smooth, maybe a bit expensive but if you don't want to spend that much money then go for something like a tensile becasue they do the job.
  12. Onza T-bird (06)... they very good for the money and they got maguras on, or if you want better then find a cheap second hand one off here.
  13. Yer go for the 06, i had one and they basically the same as the 07 just with maguras instead of v-brakes. And maguras are better.
  14. Aup yer i have had this problem so i just put longer bolts in until my new ones arrived. I also pushed a rock in them and used tie wraps to stop them falling apart, did the job!
  15. Aup yer i have the same problem, im right foot forward and it seems the right way to hop left but when i'm about to do it, it doesn't seem as if i can make it. But if i try to hop to the right it feels to weird.
  16. i have rode a bike with them on, they are not all they are cracked up to be. My mates already had problems with the levers and adjusting the brake, also they come with the new echo pads which definatly need a grind to work to there best. They look at lot nicer than maguras but you can't go wrong with the maguras. Hope i helped
  17. The first frame i bought was a zoo! pitbull 04 but the first bike i had was an onza t-bird, still building the pitbull now.
  18. an eno, echo or tensile. the eno is 70 the echo is 80 and the tensile is only 35 so thats pretty good
  19. go for the vp pedals there good for the money and last bout 6 months until they start falling apart. But paying like 12 pound for something that lasts quite a bit of time is good because they have amazing grip.
  20. i'v got some on my bike and they grip amazing! i thought that wouldn't last me very long but had them 6 month now and still got quite a bit of tread left.
  21. Aup thanks for making this topic becasue i should be getting some viz rims soon so some of these replys have been useful Cheers
  22. nice but not so sure about the blue though!
