Hi, most new front derralieurs are not specific to top or bottom pull as they cater for both, from seeing that you said you have an alvio groupset and i assume that you are running 8 speed gears and it is possible to use any 9 speed front derralieur . If you dont want to have to spend alot on a new derralieur just take a scan on ebay as front mechs can be picked up for next to nothing. I managed to get an XTR front mech for £5, so you wont need to sheel out a load of money for a new one.

What part of the bike as Chris King or Hope could suggest a headset or rear hub, and my mind reading powers are a bit low at the moment

hello again , in one of my previous posts i asked about putting a freewheel and gearing for a trials bike, after looking about most people on stock bikes use rear wheel with a freehub, i was wanting to know if this has an advantage over using a front freewheel as it seems to be the norm for almost every person riding. the frame i have is a base ta26 is there any ideal set up for this bike as i will mainly be riding street, also magura or disk up front ?? the forks i have got with the frame are echo controll's are they any good ??

hi i have jus bought a base ta26 frame to get into a bit of trials i used to have a mod onza and i have a new spare 16t freewheel, was wondering if i would be able to use this on my new frame if i had a fixed sprocket at the rear and if so what size of sprocket would anybody suggest, would this work with the 7075 echo cranks on tartybikes that are on offer at the moment, and any idea what axle length of bb i would need?? lots of questions
