-
you will have to be a member and hold an ACU license for this as its a championship trial. and its at Hook Woods in surrey.
-
Hello Guys and Girls,
Fancied getting in some last minute practise in before Hook woods on the 23rd,
So was wondering if anyone else fancied joining us?
Let me know and we'll arrange a time and place to meet up.
Cheers,
Jake

yo spode me and ads may pop up to ride, just trying to convince him lol. give him a call and shout abuse at him lol

Another boring black bike, i've noticed alot of trials lack imagination when choosing colours for their bikes. People need to buck up and get creative
-
I do quite like that alot, although im partial to white bikes myself as my echo lite is white hehe.
-
Down with maguras! never had a good one in my life always die on you, get V brake, Remember... V's don't freeze!!! lol oh and they're easier to setup and adjust and have the same braking power.
-
Hand your mobile number over and we'll meet up for trials session soon too. Catch me on MSN or PM me
-

Hmmmm i might sneakily order in deore disk from work and then weigh them up.
I rekon they would be a great alternative for people that can't afford the full hog of a mono trial, they certainly brake well.
-
Well done Si Norton for coming 2nd, Well done bert!
-
Some shithot riding there. can't fault him at all, did look like he was putting 110% into that. Well done.
-
Hmmmm good point Inur,
i might have to check that out, but then if that is the case and the end up becoming rinsed in like a few sessions then maybe a change to sintered pads could work?
I'm tempted to buy one as they're only £40 on Chainreactioncycles.co.uk but it's wether i have £40 to waste if it doesn't work so well.
Another good advantage to the Deore brake system is that its like HALF the WEIGHT of the mono trial which would make it appealing, only thing it lacks is the PIMP factor.

Hey guys and girls,
Just been thinking at work while i was fitting some new disks to a bike and thought, I wonder if that shimano deore hydro disk work well with a hope mono trial hub?
I'm guessing it would as the shimano deore brake system works well anyway but he added biteyness of the mono trial rotor, i rekon that'd be a good cheap and possibly better alternative to hope's own mono trial brake.
I know it wouldn't have the same savage hold as the mono trial but you would probably gain abit more modulation which is a plus for both natural riding and street.
your thoughts please?
cheers,
Jake
