  1. I have to say I dont think that is right.

When I had cnc backings my brake hardly flexed and now I have Koxx browns with plastic backings it flexe's like a bitch.

I can also feel it as well.

    only my opion.

I was just saying why not put options for pads ither plastic or CNC backings....... I don't know how you can say "I don't think that is right" because I wasen't saying wether plastic or CNC backings were better just to put a option on heatsink wether to have plastic or CNC or maybe even vee :- just my oppinion but i think quite a few people would switch to vee if there were a few more pads on the market... anybody agree??

    Hope iv'e helped

  2. Aurelien Fontenoy (UCI Jr World Champ) has started using Snowies recently, following on after so much success with the Heatsink CNC backed pads. He's really pleased with these white HSB pads. He's given me an enthusiastic thumbs up for these being his pads of choice this season.

I was wondering recently if the success of Heatsink CNC backings has distracted abit from the plastic backed HSB pads. I should get back to reminding riders about these! They are the product of inordinate hours of work, and I'm proud of their quality and performance after so much investment of time and money.

    Back to cooking the tea!

Why not put snowys in CNC backing's?... or all pads for that matter the CNC backing's are superior to the plastic ones and i think it would be interesting to what people prefer when there is no difference between backing's beeing less superior OR you could start selling all pads without backings then add options like CNC or plastic backing's or none (for those who aready have CNC backings

    Just a thought for you

    Hope iv'e helped

  3. iv'e had mine for ages..

well my mate had them for about 4 months on a lightish grind...

then I run them for about 5 months and the snapped the plastic backings before I wore the pad down to 4mm

I started running zoo's on a smooth for a couple of months but now im back on the SAME snowys.

then again i run a front disk and i use that most of the time so i down brake with my back brake going down hills ect:

the brake is mint holds like a beast and is really loud on a harsh grind

    Hope iv'e helped

EDIT: "05" maggie leaver, water bleed, monty splitter, snowys, harsh grind.

  4. :o thats actually beautiful. I'm so in love.. what front rim is that?

It's a echo "06" and 13 hours of filing out and spraypaint ;) ... i was a bit bored waiting for my ZHI so i decided to make the front end as light as possible.

    cheers for comment.

  5. Street F.T.W to be honest I can't really see the point in riding rocks because I'd rather push myself in a different way. Eg: how high instead of knackering myself out on a section just to see if I 5 it or clear it. Don't get me wrong i can ride natural and find it a change to street riding but when I do I find myself just doing the same old thing... finding a good take off/run-up and plough at it and try get up 1 rock like I do on street the only difference is that the run-up/take off is better... No disrespect to natty riders because I have no endurance or stamina to do half the stuff some of them do but I just prefer street.

    Don't hate me

  6. reeet.... lets think firstly im into my DH so i'd buy some mountain and a zillion diggers in scotland

somewhere and have a cabin up there that i could just drop in to the woods in a morning. As for trials

i'd proberly go try the most stupid frames drill them out to shit ride them like bonkers for a day and

try another the next day ohhh yeahh and i'd proberly think about raffles ect like the one tarty did but

i'd do it on the regular like every week or so.

    Cheers and good topic

  9. Hi everyone,

I have a avid juciy 5 front disk with a 160mm rotor but i'm wanting to get a smaller rotor

partly because i die everytime i press the front brake and partly because i keep hitting my rotor

(and because i want to be different)... I'm looking for a rotor thats ither 140mm or 120mm and a adaption kit to fit...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Rick x

ohh - i have echo urban "20" forks if that helps too

  10. There's lodes of different veiws on whats most important. You could argue that you would need power

to launch yourself up/along but then again i know quite a few very very good riders that don't have much muscle ect

But are still amazing then however you can't just be powerful and not skilled because that power would have nowhere to go

just my oppinion but i'm 50/50 on this one.

  11. there's been a topic with a method here for ages. just look above this topic.
I no that but i went on it a while since "page cannot be displayed" and this just seems easyer for downloading plus you can use this to just get audio from the video iv'e been using it for a while and it just seems simpler

  12. seen it lodes but it still looks fit phill....

under no circumstances are you to take a grinder to ither rim and get rid of that black sidewall

will ride as soon as i can sell Kot or get new frame
