  1. I would recomend giro helmets, mine is a giro havoc which i brough in a sale for 34pounds down from 50. they are relly nice, light and comfortable. Adam.
  2. Hi, with tyre pressures it is down to the rider to find what they like but 15-25 is about right, the lower the presure the more grip and bounce, the higher the presure the less resistance(faster). With shoes i have heard the try-all shoes are good but really any trainers will do the job, i like to ride in DC's as thats what i am used to wearing. Hope this helps,Adam
  3. Realy good idea mate, it sounds like you know what you will be doing and you have all the tools and equiptment so give it ago. I have been thinking about making my own booster for a while now but never got round the getting the stuff. I wish you all the best in getting it set up and hope you do well mate. Adam.

  5. its not a new braake so it needs bleeding, which oil will feel most like water as i want my brake to have a very snapy feel at the lever. Adam.
  6. You didn't have to post it on here , you already made me feel stupid on msn. :$ lol, trust me though it feels like a water bleed. Adam.
  7. Is there anyway i can get the same feel as water? Adam.
  8. Alex its for the rear because im going to be buying a simtra frame. Also tyler is running a hope with a water bleed and my mate james, how comes they work perfect and feel loverly?. Adam.
  9. Just to let you know this won't happen as its a rear brake, and hope brakes will not co*k up with water my mate kieran even bled his with ribena and that works extremely well and he has been running this for a while now. If water doesn't ruin a magura then why should it ruin a hope?. Anyway i am goin to bleed my hope with de-ionised water later on tonight and i shall let everyboddy know how well it works. Adam.
  10. Thats strange i know two people with water bleed hopes and they work a treat. Adam.

  12. Hi i have a hope mini mono and wish to water bleed it but don't know how can someone please help me, can it be bleed in a bath like a hs33? Thanks,Adam.
  13. Just sit down by the computer and look for a pic of a wheel with however many spokes and how many times the spokes cross and learn. Adam.
  14. Yeah i should be out saturday, look forward to riding with you mate. Adam.
  15. That should all be spot on the only other thing could be the rear hub, maybe the bearings are being crushed by the axle. Is the back hub sealed or not if it is not maybe the cones are to tight therefore stoping the rear wheel from spinning smoothly, making it harder to pedal. It is just that in your video it looks like you have to put alot of effort in to hoping. hope this helps, Adam.
  16. What length are your cranks, how many teeth does your rear sproket and how many teeth does your freewheel have? Adam.

  19. No worries pete anytime, hope you are able to get them drilled out so we can all find out what they are like to ride(Y). Adam.
  20. Yes i think round holes are stronger because the stress is equal where as the hexagonal holes have corners where the stress will be worse, but other than that the rims are eactly what you are looking for just give them ago and if you can get them drilled to round hols do that. also put up a review after using them as they are new.
  21. Try the new revell rims on tarty the look just the ticket for what you are after heres the link hope this helps, Adam.
  22. I would definitely go for 36hole and 4 cross, and i would also suggest getting an eyeletted rim to stop the spoke from being riped out i f a branch or a stick gets stuck in your back wheel (this hapenned to me on my dh rig) plus an eyeletted rim can be built stiffer. hope this helps, Adam.
