  1. Righty! I originally started riding wearing doc martins, which i really liked as they had deep grip and held the pedals well! The past few rides im wearing some flat soled skate shoes in which 1 i keep slipping and batting my shins, and 2, are getting shredded pretty quickly! So anyway, Ill be going back to doc martins!! But what do you guys use? I mean, there are "trials" shoes on tarty, but is it worth it?
  2. Personally I would ignore all of this advice completely! Dont focus so much on what you are doing, just try, seriously! When I was 1st learning backhops (literally about 2/3 weeks ago) I was trying so hard to "get it right" but there is no need, once you know the basic principle, the rest is in your body, it gradually learns the best way to control it. Deep concentration on how you arnt gripping hard enough with your left hand will just throw you off! IMHO anyway! Just relax and keep trying, and eventually it will come! gotta say, if I was in that position, I'd be looking where I was going aswell!!
  3. OFF TOPIC OFF TOPIC nah, just kidding Playstation 3 will kick Xbox's ass, end of story really, but I'm not planning on buying either, why waste you're life in front of a tv screen? Get out on your bike!
  4. like i said, on the weld it wont matter, a weld is a weld end of story, if you get it done well it will be just as strong, but if it is on the actual frame it will be weaker no matter what
  5. neat antifreeze, most antifreeze is kind to rubber components making it quite ideal
  6. 1st time i saw it was on blue peter a couple of years ago, went to watch a few motorbike trials, n thought ill give it ago, start on a bike, then move to a motorbike
  7. if the break is on one of the welds it wont make it weaker but on the tubing it will, but not much, metal is metal, and it aint soft, get it welded, grind it down n itll ride! just make sure you go to a decent ally welder
  8. get it welded by somebody that can weld, should only cost a few quid, not even that ride it whilst saving for a new frame
  9. yer, i know what u mean, ive never been into that gear talk with anything
  10. it is, but people want real time answers, they want to have discussions, not look through archives. im pretty sure it'd be more annoying if people kept bringing back hundreds of dead posts every day
  11. its the rulebook basher once again, dude, calm it! the second ur in the full members chat u dont get this shit, theres no need to get pissed off over what you see on a screen!?
  12. Hah, what im saying is why be an arse, fair dues its annoying people coming in asking the same questions, but surely thats the reason this is the NEW MEMBERS CHAT, to stop the main forum getting filled up with junk? Personally if i ran a site id want new members to feel welcomed, not ridiculed by somebody thats read the rule book and uses it as his f**king bible. i noticed when i rode my mates stock, a hell of a lot more control on the back wheel, whereas my mod i find a lot easy to climb things on... even if it is only about 2 feet high haha
  13. at the minute i dont wear a helmet, but now im starting to do some pretty high ledges (imo) i reckon i will have to buy one soon before i bash my brains in
  14. SIR YES SIR nah, just help the noobs, no need to have a go at every f**ker, and theres a difference between sticking to the rules and sucking moderator cock
  15. ive had/got loads of little ones, they hurt like hell initially, but then u forget after a few mins.... cept i aint had one like the above haha
  16. why have you dudes all gotta come accross as twats, help the n00bs out, dont just say "you shouldnt have said that or you'll get banned", assholes anyhow, look just under our pics, it tells you there, and reasons why... personal preference, small bike, easy to chuck, big bike, more control blah blah blah
  17. just cause they are new members doesnt mean they are new to trials
  18. god damn i hate waking up in harrys lock up haha, i cleaned up a bit before i left, interesting smelling farts today!! also, to those discussing the effects of mixing drinks.... shut up n drink it, its worse depending on if you mix harder drinks, and not as bad if you mix a WKD blue with a fosters...... more alcohol is more damage, end of just take a multi-vit and a pint of water before you go to sleep, replace all the lost vitamins n stuff
  19. spray WD40 on your pads to stop them squeaking actually dont
  20. use google http://www.bobyte.com/ maybe the 3rd one down? looks alright, if not, steal some real software
  21. purling garages, i do work for them, and they pay me, then i buy parts
  22. base it on your money situation, if ur in the money then why the hell not? but if not, hold on to the money and wait for something to bust, then fix that! IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!
