  1. Where me and my mates ride in Ipswich (the Wolsey Theatre) we get complaints from the owners, and they called the police. I wasnt here on the incident when the cop actually turned up (from the police station 70 yards down) but he just asked them how long it took to learn haha.
  2. Does anybody ride with them? Do they get in the way much atall? And where can I get some cheapies? Thanks! Growing tired of that!
  3. No idea on number 1! And I'm not completely sure what you are asking on number 2, there are maguras for your front, I find they are brilliant although some people prefer discs for the front (personal preference). Could you try and rephrase the question a little clearer?
  4. also. come on fyfe you wimpy girl "im a full member, i dont have to ride when its f**king lovely outside! "
  5. Been riding all day today and I am absolutely knackered! Though I really feel I've achieved something now and can see myself improving nicely although I ache like hell! How do you guys wind down after a hard as hell day? Besides the fact Ill probably fall asleep on my computer in a min!
  6. All of my tossing mates arnt answering the phone (work, and sleeping) so is anybody else about? gimme a bell 07935444243 or a txt
  7. that is terribly cool, whats the rubber bit coming from the bashplate though?
  8. thanks very much for that dude, didnt think about goin through the big boys forum! thats brilliant, just what i was looking for!
  9. As the title states I have searched the forum, found a lot of people saying some are good some are shit, but if everyone that replies could state their favourite and why it would be a great help! ATM im on the standard magura black, I've tried tar, hate it, ground rim, its ok, but I like the feel of a brake that slips when I want it to, just not as much as the nasty black pads! Thanks guys!
  10. and why am i going to get fired? im good at my job
  11. I never revised atall, hell, half the exams i was stoned! And even got kicked out of one haha! 2 GCSEs Business and Maths ohh yerr! But as I'm doing an apprentaceship, who cares
  12. nah, as i said, after riding it again i enjoy it a lot more now, just a bad night :$
  13. I ran mine without a booster for a while, when the TPA was eventually adjusted all the way in with completely unworn pads I decided to invest in a tensile booster. Jesus Christ the difference was amazing! Wouldn't even think of running without one!
  14. What DB do you ride, im looking through their UK site and cant find anything trials oriented... http://www.diamondback.co.uk/index.aspx
  15. It just had adjustable mounting points on the frame, apparantly patented haha! Just been riding with harry (netherking) and fyfey! (f**king bastards been riding on my bike and shagged the bottom bracket loose!!) and I'm starting to like it a lot more again, I think I just became frustrated before MOD *** lol!
  16. anybody wanna trade a mod for a stock haha... bugger it, ill grin it till i snap it! nah! i was thinking maybe a 24", as a stock feels too large to me, what do people tihnk of them?
  17. Surely one of the Mods can check IP addresses? Anywho, best advice is persist, you mess things up and bits break, but just enjoy it and push forward and have a hell of a time!!
  18. More sweep on the forks? How would this work?
  19. http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product.php?pid=104668 Was £350 when I bought it, they seem to have jacked up the price since. I was afraid changing the frame would be the only option How many things would interchange do you know? Or am I going to be buying a whole new everything?
  20. Ive just looked on tarty bikes Now looking at that, to me, looks very easily brakable, and very natural oriented. Personally I would use the echo bashplate (and do!) for urban, obviously isnt as good on natural, but doesnt have very thin metal to snap! Plus is £28 cheaper
  21. Thats what you want, just put a super fine coating on the rim, and i mean FINE! Too much will cause you all sorts of problems! As said above, less is more! Personally I wouldnt use it, just get some decent pads and perhaps a grind! Be warned if you havnt tried it before, you lose all "modulation" (if thats the word) of your brakes, they become more "on off" which for a new rider (if you are... i am!) is absolutely horrible!
