  3. Hold on a second... Didn't the second version (curved top tube) have an internal headset? I bought one off Hawzee (I'm pretty sure it was a production frame, not a proto) last year and although I can't remember for sure, I remember Wayne saying he might have a headset that'd fit it. Can't check the frame as it's packed up in the loft somewhere...

EDIT: BTW, if your frame is designed for a 1 1/4 inch headset, you'd be just as well getting a couple of 'shims' to sit in the frame and reduce it for a 1 1/8 inch headset...

thanks alot guys i have got a new hope headset and some shims to reduce it thanks again :) tom

  4. hi guys just got validated (waHoOoo) so my first topic in the big boy forum.

well i searched for my my answer and i couldnt find it,

i got some new forks a couple of months ago and since i fitted them i have this anoying movment in my headset. When ever i turn or apply my front brake my frame moves forwards and my forks stay where they are (about a inch of travel) so i checked my headset and it was bust so i am out to get a new one BUT my headtube is 1 1/4th and my forks are 1 1/8th is there any headsets that will fit my bike ? comments are welcome thanks tom.

  5. hmmm i agree with mr ? this is becuase i have been on this part of the forum (NMC) waiting for a decent topic to arise, i am not saying there is a lack of decent topics in the NMC but it would be nice not to see things like "whats the funniest thing you found in your tyre". But when i look in the members area i can see so many topics that i could contribute to. I just think that somtimes things should be given a push forward.
