  1. Right, iv got an avid bb7 on the front!

And it doesn't work too great, and im wondering if there could be a certain reason for this?

Its a 203 hope rotor, with a avid sd7 lever, and am not sure what cable!

It holds to an extent, but only on small stuff!

    Can anyone help me?

I was considering getting a magura, but i'd prefer too keep a disk! (if it works)

    Cheers, danny...

  2. where in keighley are you from?

    bolty..............

Bolty, looks like we have got someone else to ride with :P

He lives on damens road, i live in haworth, but bolty lives in ingrow aswell, so... :P

  3. nah your just dumb.

    whats hard to understand?

It is an easy sentence to understand bearing in mind you have msn, or other programs, but for those who dont "jw" doesn't mean a great deal.

If he is wanting to get validated then it would be better if he stopped the slang!

    Danny.

Ps, "jw" means, just wondered :P

Ohh and i agree with mrkoxx about damons video on biff's mod, was really good :D

  4. I rode one of them for a while, sold now though!

But its a really nice bike, really flicky and easy to control.

    Also looks really nice!

So yeah, it is a really good bike, id have another if i still rode mod!

    Hope i helped!

    Danny.

  5. Iv used a brown and a green on the front smooth rim before, was mint with the slightest tar, and when a first got me 26" a couldn't find the pads for it so a used one rock pad (blue) and a ali c pad! the noise wasn't great, but it held really well!

If i was to do it agen, i would use one coust (cnc backing) and one rimjam!

    Would work a treat a reckon :P

  6. My mate did it once, he didnt have any sticking out, so he took it to his local bike shop, they drilled the old bolt out, and then took it to a engineering place to get it helicoiled, cos him about 20 quid!

    Not too bad!!

If u ant got money to spend, then you could just drill it out urself, then tap it to the next size up!

This isn't ideal, as it means u have to drill your mounts in order to fit the bolt through!

    Hope i helped!

Ps. any local engineering places will heli coil it for about £10 :D

  7. lol

there arent any public trials parks in the UK... yet

I went to what i considered a trials park the other day in silsden!

It had loads of rocks made into sections and there were little gaps to rails and things. I dont know whether that is what you mean by a trials park, but... it was there and man made!

    Danny..

  8. I say save it, unless theres something what needs replacing on your bike.

Sod's law if you buy something you don't need the next day you brake something and you haven't got the money to replace it.

    I agree, save it!

I bought new brake pads and a disk brake for mine, the next day, when i had no money left, my back brake snapped!!

    Well annoying!!

    So...yer SAVE IT!

    Danny...

  9. probably being able to static gap 6ft.

I know thta this might sem like a noob question, and is slightly off topic but when i say "static" i usualy mean setting off from two wheels, and only kicking once!

Im not too sure if this is what you mean. Could you please explain.

Im not really sure about what my best achievement is, i personally think i have achieved a lot in trials, and am proud of everything i have done.

    Danny...

  10. There isnt that much need to change anything on that bike, but if you wanna then, i would suggest, getting new bar and stem, maybe echo stem with zoo bars! And maybe get a set of echo forks, and use the hs33 on the back of the forks, much better braking!

I would also change the break pads and grind the back rim! Maybe get some plaz pads on the back, and leave the front rim smooth and get Heatsink snowy pads!

Maybe new peddles, Dmr are probably the best option!

The bike is great for a begginer though!

    Up to you buddy (Y)

  11. Im gunna have to say street!! :)

The reason for my choice, is that i havent really rode a lot of natural, but from what i have rode, i find it very hard.

This is probably because i have never really attempted to get into natural!

I mean, with street, you get on back wheel, and feel comfortable and balanced, whereas in natural, it is a lot harder to balance because your either on a slope or the surface isn't smooth.

I also believe that riding is meant to be fun! And when i go out, i dont ride non-stop, i sit around and talk to freinds and ride inbetween doing other stuff! In natural there are big lines to do and you cant just do one bit of the line and then stop halfway because your bored!

So street gets my vote, but i will still enter comps and stuff now and again!

  12. I think its cute

    Nah just joking ross!!!

If your serious about gettin a bit bigger/stronger then go for it buddy!!

Personally, i wouldn't say that muscle has anything to do with how well you can ride a bike!

I think if the technique and determination is there then that is all you need!!

But that could just be me wishfull thinking :D

    Danny...

  13. You can get the most power using the balls of your feet due to it having the most leverage. I personally don't really know, if I looked at my shoes i could tell, but I guess Revell pedals are big enough for me not to worry about foot positioning too much.

Yeah, i thought that having them on the balls of your feet would give you more leverage!

Im gunna have a go next time i ride!

  14. Hi, This could sound a bit weird but...

Ive been watching a lot of riding video's lately and iv'e noticed that quite a lot of people have there pedal on the front of there sole of there shoes.

I personally have the pedal in the middle of my shoe, where the dip is.

Where does everyone else have there pedals?

Is it better to have it at the front or what?

    Thanks, Danny...

  15. well, I think Ive just overtightened the screw that clamps the lever to the bars save the applause. Can anyone tell me if i can replace the lever at all without doing a bleed?

If you have a 07 magura, can get a longer bolt and its works fine, cos the bolt that is in it now, doesn't go all the way down :D
